  1. Thanks man, yes, great food and historical architecture. Love cities I can walk around without needing a car. I was at the Marriott downtown so easy to get around. I ate at iron chef Morimoto's 3 times. Probably the best sushi I have ever had.
  2. Thanks sputim, I spent much time reading posts and reviewing forums and really appeared that BK and TC had the kind of products that appealed to me the most. Don't mind paying more for the quality and attention to detail. This place saved me from getting scammed. I was close to a gen purchase a few weeks ago, then decided to look for a rep and almost pulled the string on one of those "swiss made" reps for 1250$. Which I found out here is a scam site. So now I am getting 2 reps that are so much better than anything else I could find on my own for about what that POS would have cost me, plus so many cool people here that are interested in similar things as me. Now may have to venture out there for a different brand like an AP or Pam. Always been a Rolex and Omega guy. I think it is my desire to be 007.
  3. if you do not go Mac, as stated by another member the Lenova Yoga machines are excellent. Get a powerful and light laptop but also a tablet. I have a 13" for business travel and really like it. It processes fast, is very quiet with a solid state drive and does not get hot. I have had at least a dozen laptops over the last few years and like this one the best by far. Keyboard is excellent for a laptop and is lighted for working late. Cool for traveling; use the windows 8 for apps and playing and basically in desktop mode its windows 7 for working. I run a RDP to my office and home computers so can access either of my desktops as well. Tried several of the new laptops before settling on this one and a year later very happy with that decision.
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys. Ordered the TC. So 2 units on the way soon.
  5. Or this one....I was rooting for the Eagles. Sorry man hope I do not have to experience the same disappointment this weekend. Hawks offense has not looked good for weeks now. I know I am sporting the old TT blue Sub just in case we choke and I throw myself into the Puget Sound. FYI, was in Philly a few weeks ago for a week on business. What a great city. One of my all time favorite places.
  6. Thanks. previous was a 2007 s4 cabriolet so good choice. Really drove everything in the 50-75 K range before buying the current Audi. nothing on the market like an audi. Need all wheel drive for snow but love drop tops. Great combination of luxury and sports performance with super quiet and smooth ride. Only other car really considered was Lexus GS 350 but no cabrio so easy decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. CAO's are good smokes. Well made and consistent and offer many varieties of flavor and strength. Thanks for the welcome. If u like strong smokes try a Don Pepin Garcia blue label. One of my all time favs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 2011 Audi A5 Cabriolet with an S package and much work to increase horsepower. Been doing the Audi cabrios the last few years. All wheel drive and drop top. I am really a muscle car guy. Mostly old Vettes but got sick of maintaining a Corvette and a SUV for winter so went the the Audi's. Presently looking for a 69 z28 resto mod just for fun...or another old Vette. 9. Oops meant Habano stupid auto correct Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Liga Privada been smoke of choice lately. T52 is my favorite but like the 9 and Undercrown as well. They actually lived up to the hype. Normally a Don Pepin guy. Like Corojo and Hanano wrappers the most. Tatuaje Miami is probably the one I smoke the most. I am an everyday cigar guy and have large humi with several hundred in stock. Some are 20 years old. Love a good smoke especially on the golf course. Glad to see a discussion about em Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Still looking at the TC also. May get it too. Would like to see them side by side in my hand. Have same issue with the YM. BK Sean YM or TC FD. Been getting rid of some units in the case to make room. Wife won't notice if the amount stays the same:). Like golf clubs...have to sell or give away the extras. You know "is that new" No had that for a while now. Can already hear her why do u have two Rolexes exactly the same....there not the same honey... Although was very close to a gen sub c purchase a couple weeks ago so she may cut me some slack since I can buy many reps for what I would have spent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes absolutely just about every brand has a black diver Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. OK Gentlemen, put in my first order today since joining the RWG. Thank you for being here and for all the information. Struggled between the TC Sub v6 and the BK noob Sub C v2. Really like both of them. Eventually decided on the BK. I already have a 2005 Sub and really like the modern look of the ceramic insert and I actually like the engraving on the rehaut. Will post some pics when it arrives. Next up a YM Platinum or maybe doing a fraken job on the 2005 Sub. Or maybe both, most likely be both. Oh **** I think I got the bug....I see many more watches in my future. BK has been very helpful through this process and is great to work with. Thanks again
  14. Very classy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks Mike, wife made fun of me. She was like, my watch is bigger than yours. Have to admit, I still like the classic museum dial of the Movado, but be nice if it was 42mm....I am in the process of my first order since joining the site. Black and SS Sub C and a Plat YM. Think the YM would work with a suit just fine. Happy New Year and thanks for being here. Really have enjoyed my time here so far.
  16. New to this. First pic uploaded. Formal dinner tonight so old school gen from 25 years ago. Funny do not wear much gold anymore but gold cuff links too. Funny thought this watch was cool back in the 80's before I knew about automatic movements. Does still look good with dark suit though. Check out the size looks so small now days. As u can see like brand new. Once I got a sub this went to the case. Clearly need to update my dress watch selection. Be nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks for showing these photos of the two. I am new trying to figure out what to order and this helped. I personally really like the bulkiness and looks of the Ceramic so the Sub C it is. I already have a 2005 Blue faced two tone Sub, so the C is definitely what I am looking for. These pics really helped me see the difference. Thanks Again. Oh and beautiful pieces.
  18. Had the Moccamaster but with the thermal carafe, a very good machine with perfect water temperature. Makes great coffee really good flavor extraction. Finally bit the dust after many years of good service. Wife killed it. Recently bought a Bonavita which is a smaller sized unit and fits my kitchen better and I am very happy with this machine. Was cheap $189 and works great. Water temp is right on at 204. It is very comparable to the Moccamaster for temp and flavor, just better size for my kitchen so that is why I chose it over the Moccamaster this time.
  19. Too funny, I say that all the time. Got a good laugh on that thanks. I was a metro guy and now live in the sticks....No traffic is nice though, but there is not much to do. Guess I will buy some time pieces.

  21. Got a good laugh at work on this, thanks
  22. Great collection, love the vintage Sub with the rubber strap.
  23. Thanks, I found that and it is exactly what I am looking for. I emailed him.
  24. Hi all, I am looking for a Yachtmaster Men SS Rolesium 40mm. I have checked the suggested dealer links and being a noob, it is hard for me to tell the difference. Any suggestions for this unit? I do not mind paying more for the best available. I prefer the Swiss movement. Thanks for any help.
