  1. Here you have the gen with white logo: So the rep is fine, no flaws (except the usual ones)
  2. I agree with you: HKtan straps are amazing. I have 4 of them (for my Volcano, my Grey Themes, my MH and for my Safari) and all of them are stunning. Best quality/price ratio in the market. I never had issues with Aaron; in fact, one time I didn't receive my strap and he sent me a new one. So his sevice is top notch. Some people has concerns about he's not using metallic bars, but I don't see the point to have them because Aaron's straps are extremely well manufactured and the strap stays firm connected to the case (the one used in my Volcano has 3 years of use and it's in perfect condition).
  3. OMG!!! I can't believe nobody has commented yet!! Congrats and I hope you can make the Bumbemblee case
  4. yes aanival, could you post some pics of your watch please? the dial pic posted by Fleet is from a Silver themes no from the Safari.
  5. Some months ago I had the same issue with 2 bezels of my APs. They scratch very easy! I decided to repair them instead to buy new ones and the result was awesome. I removed the bezel and then I purchased the finest sandpaper available in my area : 600 for metal. I put the sand paper in a flat surface and then I passed the bezel in 1 direction (following the bezel brushed lines). After some 6 passes, the bezel was like new!!
  6. Goodcheapman sells lots of springbars. Using a pair of pliers you will be able to cut the springbar, then you must to remove the internal spring, in that way you will get the tubes (like shown in my last posted picture).
  7. Hello, yes I transplanted the rep buckle to the aftermarket deployment. You only need to build 2 tubes (cutting a springbar), like in my last picture posted, and then enjoy your new mega ultra comfortable deployment! The rep buckle fits perfectly in the alternative deployment. Just go to the link I posted before or find the ebay store of the seller goodcheapman. The deployment must be 18mmm.
  8. your welcome! You can find the deployment in ebay (HERE). They are cheap and very good quality. I have always bought from the same seller and all transactions had been flawless. I think you can ask him for a polish one... mmh I will buy one polished too You will need also a springbar to do the mod. You will need to cut it in two pieces of the same size and put them here: It is very easy to build one of these and I really don't understand how the other AP fans can use the crappy rep buckle and feel it comfortable.
  9. Hi, I had the same problem than you some time ago. I tried everything and finally I decided to buy an aftermarket deployment. Take a look: The deployment is very very comfortable, 1.000.000 better than the rep. Nevertheless. a few time later and not satisfied with the look of the aftermarket deployment, I decided to create a franken deployment combining the rep buckle and the aftermarket one. Here is the result: I did the experiment with my Volcano, my Grey Themes and my Montauk Highway. I'm waiting my Chronopassion (unfortunatly with Francisco ) and my just recently bought RB II updated version, to do the same thing. With this franken deployment, the fit and look is perfect in your wrist.
