the 12 gmt is above the l swiss made l at the bottom and you can see that the crown is set too high at the side
Crown sits just fine. It must be the angle of your computer screen

There are two versions of the Gen. There are also two rep versions dials.
D and E has the "L Swiss Made L" under the 12 GMT

Is spending more than a grand on a un-moded old 24, sound, right?
NEGATIVE!! They should sell for 250-300 max unmodded. I purchased my 024a used a while back and paid about that.
If someone is selling a unmodded 24a for 1k, he should get a beating.....

I've seen the 310 several times in person and Mrs. CC hasnt stopped bugging me since........ *sigh*....

On my way to Atlanta this morning to start a new job I will be wearing this beauty.

Thanks a ton for sharing...
Awesome displays of our memberships passion for this hobby...
Of all things that these forums have brought me, the GTG is second to only my collection itself ...
TT
.
I concur. If anyone were to ask what I treasured most about this hobby, it would be to have developed great friendships though the forums and GTG's. Watches are second

Awsome, great pics.
Thank god there were only 8 of you there...imagine the size of the watch table needed if 20 RWG'ers got together.
RG
We were still missing 4-5 other members couldn't make it. Hopefully next time
Ditto. There was a certain chronograph in 1 of the other shots that looked suspiciously familiar as well. Not Avitt's...but he does have an AMAZING collection he left at home. There were a lot of guys who brought a "few to show" that the family hasn't seen yet. Imagine if they brought EVERYTHING..... it would have looked like loot from a watch heist.

How about you hold onto my 0 for another day and let me that the 112 for a spin

Hello RWG,
*** FYI, I spent about an hour writing a full article about the weekend and the GTG when all of the sudden, my laptop shuts off...... AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Anyway, I'll keep this much shorter without the yapping and off with the pictures.**
I would like to share some pictures of the mini Socal GTG on March 07th, 2009. Our Honorary Guest Daytona4Me flew in for the weekend to hang with the gang. D4M in a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. I even caught him with my glasses trying to represent himself as a "West Coast Popped Collar OG Gangster Preppy".......... East Coast style......LOL!!
Anyway, off the the GTG event. In attendance were:
Daytona4Me
Legendofspeed
Jake48
550Bryan
CzarCzar
Avitt
Projectologist
and yours truly
I had a great time at the GTG. Lot of laughs over decent food, nice watches and best of all, great friends FYI, I think there were more gens than reps on the table..lol!!
Off to the pictures:
Chauffeur??!! To the Jerry's Deli in Costa Mesa please.
I guess he wasnt to happy.....
A Series Buckle and Croc Strap Comparison
Censor Bar...LOL!!
Breaking for some lunch.
Some teen boppers drinking Bloody Marys.
And now back to the fun....
Pam Row
Isn't it bright in here?? They dont look bad at all D4M
Now off to a local AD for some shopping in Lido but before we got there, BEHOLD!!! We found The Zigmeister's Shop again!! And he's offering FREE SERVICE!!

There are VERY clear differences between the gen and the rep. The crystal/cyclops is a BIG one.
Here's an example of a rep, you decide on attention to detail: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pam-088-Gmt-Clas...Riv-t77843.html
