  1. That lume shot looks great! The BP is my first rep in the last 2 years and back then I never really got into the "mod bug" but with this BP I'm hooked. I've got an order in with Aaron for a strap and will try to get in on Chief's next AR run as soon as he's done living his life I was curious if I could get both of those done at once to limit the amount of time it's off my wrist. Maybe someone I could send it to who could remove the crystal and send it off the Chief and, at the same time, do the relume. I know Chief mentioned something along those lines in the AR Service FAQ but I wasn't sure if there was a "crowd favorite". And I would be remiss if I didn't give a big thank-you to lanikai for taking me by the hand and educating me on the ins and outs of the BP 5002. Many thanks for all the advice from the pros out there!
  2. So the consesus is that River's PP24 > other, however it's no longer available. I'd love to get one as a gift for my mother-in-law. She works in a snooty salon and I think it'd be sweet for some of her rich SUV-driving soccer-mom customers to see her wearing a $20k watch If there is a source to locate these higher quality reps through a request to Neil, I would interested in adding 1 black faced model to that request.
  3. That looks like the blue dial to me. I've got the same one. It's only a faint blue tint. Someone even described it as looking like it has a bluish AR tint on the dial. Either way it's a beauty, and I really like it on the strap!
  4. AWESOME!! I'LL LOOK INTO THAT! LOLKKTHXBYE!
  5. So I know I'm asking to get flamed but I'll go for it anyways... I'm not a datejust or daydate guy, but one of my best friends is. Over the past month I've noticed that he's been wearing several different watches, mostly watches that look like DJs and DDs. This guy has been a very good friend over the years and help my family out a LOT when my mom had her stroke three years ago. I know a replica Rollie will never balance things out, but it's the thought that counts, right? This guy is a businessman, so I'm looking for something that he won't get called out on... something 99%+ accurate. And he's also coming from the world of the quartz, so something reliable is needed. ETA is pretty much a must (I'll still probably have to explain to him how an auto > quartz) Most of his watches have looked like TT braclets and either white or black faces. I'm thinking maybe a nice TT white faced DJ is the ticket. Preferably a dealer that offers a box and papers so that I can make it a nice gift. TIA all. And while I'm at it... WHO MAKES TEH BEST SUB!?!
  6. In reply to the dial color I believe the gen is a much lighter blue. Gen: http://www.dotcom-life.com/joyful-watch/ma...s-blue-0001.jpg Here are a couple pics. Note, I suck at taking pictures and I need to practice. The 111 picture is for size reference.
  7. I just received my Breitling Bentley GT from Joshua and wanted to jot down my first impressions. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow and post them. Beautiful watch. Nice, heavy chuck of metal. I compared it on Breitling's site to the gen and I must say, I was only able to spot 2 or 3 VERY insignificant differences (besides the Swilzerland on the caseback). I probably couldn't even remember what they are without looking at the pictures. I think one was something about marker to the right of the day/date window not being as bold as the gen. Like I said... VERY insignificant. The sweep is very smooth and the chrono resets perfectly to 12. The rotor is a little noisy, but I had read that before and it's not a big deal to me. The braclet is, in a word, mind boggling. I had to take out one link and it felt like a Mensa test putting that jigsaw puzzle back together. Not for the feint of heart, but I would imagine it's just like the gen. Very sturdy. The clasp is a little tight when you try to close it on the wrist. I might need to work on it to loosen it up. My ONLY complaint is the dial color. I ordered it in blue and Joshua told me that it was a VERY dark blue... his exact words were "The blue dial is very dark.. It is almost like the black dial...Only showing a feint tint of blue.. " I should have listened to him, but I based my decision off of the pictures here http://perfect-clones.com/product_info.php...roducts_id=1357 To be completely honest, the blue in those pictures isn't a very accurate depiction on the dial color. Like Joshua told me, it's a VERY feint blue... might as well be black. While it's beautiful in blue/black, I probably would have gone with the burgandy or silver/white if I had known it was going to be as dark as it is, simply because I have enough black faced watches as is. Just to clear this up, it's my fault and not Joshua's. He told me it was dark. Overall, another flawless transaction from Joshua. That said, if anyone in the US bought a burgandy or silver/white GT and is wishing they would have bought the black or blue (blackish blue), send me a PM. I'd be more than happy to trade. Pending references of course Again, I'll try to get some pics up in the next day or two.
  8. I NEED MY CASH!! I'M GOING THROUGH GAMBLING WITHDRAWAL!! I'M ALL SHAKY!
  9. Hey guys. I'm very interested in adding the new Bentley Breitling to my rep collection, but I wanted to check on a discrepency first and see if anyone can clear it up. On Joshua's dealer listing he has the case size listed as 49mm. All of the other ones I've looked at have it listed as 47mm. I was just curious if it was just a error in the listing or if these are two different versions. Might just be a difference between a measurment w/crown and w/o crown. Anyone?
  10. Hit it big at Air Force Slots... 25,625 and I couldn't cash out
  11. No pedals either. Looks like a throttle for the right hand and a control stick in the left door.
