I agree with the gen dial. I would spend the money for the dial, source a wrapped bracelet for now to help on the build cost you can easily swap bracelets in the future
You did your homework nice first post. I've done a number of similar builds so here is some advice. unless you already have the tc v6 just order the case and case back. If you are looking at the wso 18k bezel find a tc or wm9 retainer the wso is not great. If you are using a 2824h4 movement you will want a BK DWO and the tc movements are great don't get me wrong but if you are going to drop that amount of cash on a build I would use a serviced swiss movement. I would suggest a Gen insert not the tc the gen insert is a must for a build like this. Your bracelet will be a bit more difficult as it should be an sel bracelet the 93153 style bracelet can be modded if you can source sel's it is also important that whoever mods the bracelet can shape the sel's properly to fit the case (this is very important I have seen plenty of $2000+ frankens that just flat look rep because the sel's don't follow the lugs properly). Gen clasp will be difficult to source if you want the proper stamping for a 16613 if the stamping is not important to you I would suggest just using a tc clasp gen's aren't much better.
You have a point but the first gen I ever bought was a Tag so they will always hold a place at the top of my list.
6538 will be coming. Few more builds in progress now after them time to chase parts for the 6538
Ok I'm going to throw my hat in the ring on this one.

Hope you enjoy the prized pieces in my collection.
When I started I bought a couple cheep reps and pulled them apart then put them back together a few times. Both ended up as parts. So I would suggest just as above practice on something cheep first before you tackle a build like this. Also keep in mind the Yuki movements need service out of the box and the date disk it terrible you can't just drop them in. Good luck!
Hello everyone. I've been a member here about 6 months but just sat back and lurked. Occasionally making m2m purchases. I figured it was about time I said hi.
I'm primarily a rolex guy but I enjoy all watches and as my name says I enjoy my tag's.
Looking forward to what I can learn from this group. Cheers all!
