  1. Where'd you get that pic? I couldn't find it on their site. Is it an older model/different version?

you might have the pic from the 2007 version...maybe?? i just gooled "corum admirals cup" and found a bunch of pics. maybe the rep is from the 2006 version or vice versa. the rep is almost perfect from everything ive seen. still trying to find a better price before i take the plunge.

  2. totally agree!! 99.9% of the world will have no clue. in fact, the more i look at your brushed bezel the more i like it. if i were to buy the black magic i think i would get the brushed bezel. nice pics and beautiful watch....i am also a big fan of the big bang.

  3. It's a Gen? I'm curious why the running second gone to @3? Please kindly confirm!

    Best Regards,

    Raymond

hublot made a smaller version, which is 41mm and has the running seconds at 3. i was not trying to say anything bad about your watch my friend...i think it looks great, but i just wanted say that the gen does in fact have the polished bezel. hublot makes alot of different versions so there might be a brushed bezel as well. again, yours looks great..congrats. :D

  4. The unfortunate thing is that the watches will be shipped over to The Zigmeister for the crystal removal. He was going to ship the crystals directly to you for AR treatment. If the Nav does indeed have a light AR, could you strip it for me?

i can confirm the navi world does NOT have any AR. if there is light AR you can usually see some tint of blue when light hits it. if the glare is all white then there isnt any AR. hopefully that helps.

  5. here a pic of the polished bezel

hey!!! where did you get that pic?? thats my pic/watch. nice watch though isnt it :D ....cant beat it for $385.

and by the way...as stated before the POLISHED is the correct bezel for the black magic....although the brushed looks great too. congrats!!

pics of the genuine black magic with polished bezel...

  6. the OLD asian 7750 with the low beat mvmt is known for having problems. it has been said here many times that the NEW asian 7750 is a very reliable mvmt...especially with the 6-9-12 layout. also, i dont know where you heard about the bad ar coating...the ar on mine is great!! the biggest problem i know of is the day/date alignment and the dust under the crystal. when you purchase just make sure the dealer checks to make sure day/date alignment is centered and there is no dust under the crystal. hopefully that helps.

  7. My other issues is stripping the existing coating off the Navi and UPO's. If anyone has some experience doing that, I would appreciate some tips.

i had scratches on the AR on my breitling big date, which had single coated AR on the outer part of the crystal and all i did was use soap and water with a brissel pad and it came right off. i was kinda surprised, but it did work.

  8. awesome find steve!!! im glad we possibly found something here in the US. i really dont care about the green tint....im definitely in if i could only find somebody who could take out the crystal. by the way im in PA...outside philly. i see youre in NJ, close to philly?

any idea of pricing per crystal?

  9. if you are patient and you want to get the cheapest i would suggest "ruby" she sells them for around $385 shipped, but you have to wait for her to order them from the factory. she inspects the watch before shipping and even emails you a pic of the actual watch before shipping. if you are VERY patient i would suggest to post a "wanted" ad either here or RWI and see if you can buy one used. i just bought one used with perfect day/date alignment for $295. also, when buying used it will be shipped from the US...most of the time. im in PA by the way. :D
