Thanks all for the feedback and info. I just wanted to report on my great experience with Silix. I found the watch I wanted on their site and, after a few emails back and forth and determining she had the watch I wanted and could get it manufactured the way I was looking for, I sent the Western Union order on Dec 8. She sent me QC pics the next day of the actual watch I would be receiving and said it went into the mail on Dec 10. The Hong Kong post showed it departed on Dec 15 and the USPS tracking number showed it 'prepared by shipper' for the next 10 days until Dec 23 when it showed that it passed through a facility in Teterboro, NJ. It was delivered on Fri Dec 26. Not bad considering the holidays, as mentioned here. It is nearly a perfect match, great fit and solid design. I found a few *very* subtle differences between my Breitling rep and the real thing (because I used to own a genuine and have pics of it). Overall, I'm happy with the experience and have referred a friend of mine seeking a good Tag rep to Silix.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it was sent registered mail. I'm hoping for in time for New Years. It's not an Xmas gift, but I wanted to wear it for New Years Eve, so there's still some time.

I made my first Breitling rep purchase from Silix after careful review of her reputation on the forums here, and numerous conversations with Michelle back and forth about what I was looking for. She was very responsive and helpful and sent me the QC's showing the exact watch I would be receiving. She put it in the Hong Kong post on Tuesday 12/9. The HK tracking number indicates it departed Hong Kong on Monday 12/15. As of today, 12/18 the HK post still shows 'departed' and when I track it on the US Postal site, it shows only that 'origin post is preparing shipment', but nothing else. I would have thought that it would at least be processed through and scanned by now - 4 days after it presumably departed Hong Kong (airmail). How long might I expect to see some kinds of updates?

Hello all - I was lurking in the rep forums earlier in the year because I was looking for a very specific model Breitling. I gave up on the search because despite some of the dealers' web sites at the time showing that they had it, when I would email them they told me they didn't. But now I'm back into the search and am confused at how to go about seeking out a specific brand/style/color/bracelet. I started looking in the TD listings, and many of the web sites are gone now. I guess one option is to buy up to a VIP membership here and post on the want to buy, but before I do that I'm just looking for advice on how to target rep dealers who are known for Breitlings.
