Quick update the seller was not helpful at all. Basically since he had my money and it was past the paypal dispute period he knew he didn't have to do anything and he didn't.

I purchased a modded PAM 111H SWISS SWAN NECK in June from a member with fairly extensive history. The watch right off the bat was fast I attributed this to a break in period. Recently it been gaining several minutes a day. When I contacted him he attributed this to a regulation issue. When I contacted him again he told me he bought this watch from another member and that's how he got it. I think he is passing the buck. Shouldn't he be responsible for any repairs to the watch. He also not be responsive to the mails I sent. What should I do? This was his ad for the watch This is a modded PAM 111H SWISS SWAN NECK that I picked up from another member. 1. Started off as Eddie Lee's best PAM 111H: Great case 2. Cannon pin fixed 3. Lume job done 4. Modded dial to avoid the L SWISS MADE L squished up against the "6" 5. Fully serviced by a watchsmith; new crown stem installed and has a nice winding feel to it.

I purchased a Lello crown with another member with a fairly extensive post count 200+. I received an thin paper envelope with a hole in it and no crown. He claims it was in a small plastic bag. Either way I received a envelope and no crown. I asked for a refund as I believe it was improperly packaged. As a metal crown in a letter envelope is asking for trouble. I am right or wrong? The seller did not mention any insurance when I purchased from him. I would expect him to make it right since: 1) we are not talking about alot here 2) improper packaging; should have been in a bubble package. He has so far refused to refund me as he said he has no crowns and is not a dealer. I don't see how either affects a refund. As even being a private seller you should package your items properly.

How do we preorder? PAM doesn't respond to emails/PMs.

Anyone have a source for crowns. Seems like the PAM crowns were not that much of an improvement. And Lello is not answering mails.

Looks like neither PAM nor Lello are too keen on answering emails/PMs.

Does Lello still sell crowns. Might be an option as seems people are having tough time contacting PAM.
