  3. Tourby, please check your emai , and give me a short reply and tell if you got the watch. thanks
  4. I haven't read the whole thread... but my father is surgeon, so i get some informations here and there. There are 2 methods LASIK & LASEK. LasEk is done on the surface of the cornea - lasIk is done deeper in the cornea, is therefore a more invasive method. Lasek a more gentle method and has less risk that the cornea deplaces after the surgery. After lasik it can happen even after a year (but doesn't has to). ALso there more sideeffect with lasIK as it goes deeper into eye (many reports in newer times about complications). better methods are LASEK or EPI-LASIK - google it and please consider - it's your eyes - so unless you can wear glasses or contactlenses without bigger problems - don't choose surgery.
  5. I am looking for a replacement crystal for my 111h as the original crystal got scratched (how - i have no idea....) but, as i supppose, it was mineral glas, although when i try to scratch it now with most brutal instrument - nothiing happens... anyways. Where can i get a crystal (only a crystal) . A saphire crystal would be nice, so i don't have to worry about scratching in feature. I already found a presstool for that purpose, just need to find someone who would sell such part. Any help would be very very appreciated!
  6. I had sofar only good experience with refurbished hardware. Mostly big companies (such apple) don't even repair the stuff, but just replace the whole mainboards, or evene the whole device (it's cheaper for them, than to repair , timewise). I am also working on both :pc and mac. I must say the next oppportunity will be to replace my desktop PC. The main reason ist that windows uses system.ini. So at the beginning everything is cool, until to begin installing and deinstalling programms. The pc get's instable with time. Also it's really stupid that windos doesn't use RAM above 4 GB, only if you are using NT or 64bit windows, which on the other hands are really nervwreking when it comes to finding the proper drivers for certain haradware... I am not like "hardcore mac user" i think only that mac has more "clever" approach to user interface (expose f.e.). And if you look at the weight and screen quality of a macbook pro (and features like keyboard light etc.) it's a fair price - a pc with similar features will cost the same, but will not have the same quality feel to it... but hey, i had also a 400 euro acer, it was working fine as well; )
  7. I can only reccomend to buy a refurbished (cos cheaper and same warranty) mac book pro - better than anything. Had myself asus, toshiba, acer and dell. (or macbook if budget is tight). Macbooks are much more time efficient and use the memory much better. Also tons of very good free apps for mac. Deskopwise imac is cool but limited to 2Gig memory so eather a quadcore mac pro or a quad core intel (1/2 of a cost).... Vista is not really good btw. : lot of problems with compatibility...
  8. Just found Tommy over in replicacollector forum - will wait and see what he sais...
  9. I am new on this forum and wondering if there is any possibility to mod & relume a 111h inside Europe, as i have worries about customs issues, if i send my watch to canada or us... Is there no alternative? Would be great to hear some advice or opinions (also for others memebers maybe who have same concerns.) Attached picture of my 111h.
