  1. Who do you think then? (considering that only a few get their hands on MBWs)
  2. If that is the case it would be very good. Still, if its true they are made in Taiwan instead of China, all other dealers that get their stuff from the "people's republic" will have some difficulties getting these. Maybe TTK?
  3. While everybody seems to treat this watch as something new (like the new SD) and suggest "everybody" and then some will get it too, it should be noted that this guy "george" has been selling this piece for many months now. I don't know if it's any good (could be crap for all I care), but the "wait a little, and everybody will have it" has been said several months ago by other forumers as well and after all this time nobody has it (doesn't look good on this regard I'm afraid ).
  4. Does anyone know if the Inserts Cousin's sell are any good? Or where to buy gen inserts?
  5. I agree with By-Tor, most of the time Reps are "almost" as good as the gens (at least those that get replicated)some out of the box (like the correct hand stack Explorer 2, the SFSO and all those fantastic Tags) some needs small mods, but still INCREDIBLE value for the money... P.S. And let me join FxrAndy and TJ too: gens price ARE inflated...
  6. There are super reps but sadly super gens too, the first are nice enough to satisfy (and they will get better and better as long as 5th or 6th generations will be coming out ) but the super gens I want are monstrously expensive (way above 20K) and are not repped...
  7. Cant't wait!!
  8. Fantastic bracelet, and that playful "magical" effect on the front side served by the 3 rings of numbers (starting from the Bezel) which use on purpose specific sizes and fonts, ahh the beauty! TWP, I know you make stunning re-lume jobs (I'm still drooling over those PAM pics you showed me in the thread I started about lume color - Cyan VS Green - ) would you consider this watch needs one? (probably the icing on the cake?)
  9. Thanks for the update! Judging by the number of people that visited this thread I'm sure there are a lot of EU dwellers extremely interested, Let us know...
  10. I'm certainly interested in AR coating in Europe, are there any updates on this topic?
  11. indeed looks almost perfect!! What about lume and AR, are they good?
  12. And in fact I didn't know this site! A BIG thanks!!! (and that Breguet... )
  13. I heard different tales about the AR coating on this watch, some says it's single sided other say that no matter whatthey do, they cannot see any AR on it. What's the truth?
  14. Of course it's not ETA (on Josh and Andrew's sites) it says ASIA 7750 , The problem with the ETA at honpo's site is that it is not an "out of the factory" ETA, it is probably modded with an additional 11 gears to achieve the seconds at 6 feature, which makes those ETAs probably as unreliable as the modded Asian 7750 (either that, or they have faux seconds at six) What's the point in spending almost a grand then? (if it's gonna break in 6 or 12 or even 18 months)
  15. Extremely nice! (ok, I'm a super lume sucker ) The Pam shots look "not so green", how do they appear to the "naked eye"?
  16. I see the Rep's crown guards though, those are no genuine CGs... (in the first pictures with the 10:10 position)
  17. Sorry for the double post, but I was wondering...if its just a question of white balance, how come in the above picture one watch looks cyan (the Omega) and the other rather green? Does this cyan extra bright super lume actually exist? (maybe used by other brands?) :cc_confused:
  18. "Another story" everybody wants to hear Anyone up to the task?
  19. As a matter of fact I found all kinds of guides in this fantastic forum (how to swap movements, date-weels etc.)but absolutely nothing on Lume
  20. Good to hear Anyone else had packages shipped from overseas (to EU) without (or with) troubles?
  21. Looks like Out of the Factory super lume, could it be possible?
  22. And I thought that those bright blueish/cyan super bright lumes were real... To wrap it up between this SD shot: and this one: This second one (the "greenish" one) is what the naked eye will see (no ultra bright cyan stuff right?)
  23. Isn't it more pricy to have the cristal ARed and the dial re-lumed than directly buying the Swiss? (and you end up with the "not so long lasting" asian movement anyway... ) there are also the shipping cost toward the modder and backward which are all to be payed by the customer...
  24. Wow! Are these MBWs? What about the caseback?
  25. So you bought from overseas and had no trouble? P.S. PT is one of the best in the world no arguing there but wondering about overseas...
