  1. I did not know they thinned the V2J. That is good news. I will be on to my watchmaker to make my V2 thinner
  2. Send me the link to the exile place again please, pretty please.
  3. Huh? What were we talking about? What am I agreeing to now exactly? Are you trying to bamboozle me again by taking advantage of my advancing years?
  4. Lurker I says. Good to see you It is all a facade we will return to our normal cranky selves once RWI returns.
  5. I am down on my knees right now begging for forgiveness oh cute and cuddly one.
  6. I am so glad I found where you were hanging out. I missed those fabulous wristies.
  7. Something that came from MBK that I picked up on M2M for a steal What depth can it go to? How many sailors can fit inside it?
  8. Was there actually a Brown / Root Beer 6 digit sub? I never came across one. I know @QueTip had a 1675 Root Beer all right.
  9. No but i am busy scribbling down all the recommendations I am getting from here. I had Glenfiddich 18 at a party last week. I have not drank Glenfiddich in years. I really enjoyed it. I was nursing two very tiny whiskies (The Glenfiddich and a Middleton) for 5 hours as I was driving. I was a bit jealous of my wife knocking back Gunpowder Gin. I might make a trip to the Celtic Whiskey Shop in the New year and stock up
  10. One thing for sure is I have had more solid recommendations on good whiskies in the last few days than I have had in a long time.
  11. As far as I remember reading 904 was used on SeaDwellers first in the mid 80s. Then they moved the whole range to 904 in the mid 2000s. I could be wrong. The memory is a bit scatty this late after this much alcohol. So the earlier 16613s may have probably been 316.
  12. Yep they are everywhere I tell you, certainly on RWI. We even have bots over there that think they are human. It is still probably one of the best series I have seen. It is so good I even convinced my wife to watch it and love it. Sci-Fi for her is a no no.
  13. I love the look of the 126600 and the size might be just right for me but I have not looked too closely at it yet. The ARF version by all accounts seems to be the one to get at the moment.
  14. Yep big buns guns are great. I know you mean @Raddave and @xj4sonx I gust tag along for the ride.
  15. We met already I think you know by now that I love the 16613LB (Well its older brother the 16803). Very nice watches to have. You cannot go wroing with the JF 15400, I have had a few of them I currently have the TT but i am tempted to pick up the blue dial SS one again. I have the Blue dial in a tourby. But I actually think I prefer it with just the plain dial. Here is my cheapo RG one. This is not JF but MBK. Still a nice little watch. .
  16. I will tell @xj4sonx you said he had a friendly face lol. Great to see the faithful here. It is like an episode of Battlestar Gallictica to me. Our home world under attack and we find ourselves in far flung friendly places seeking refuge. I can keep going with the analogies but there has been whisky on board and I would just end up putting myself to sleep never mind everyone else.
  17. The V2j or the V2 Mod (Modified) is the latest one, they are the same. I cannot remember the difference from the V2 but I am sure there are AP experts out there who can tell you. All i remember the movement on the Modified one is decorated like the gen. The case thickness is still the same.
  18. Lol I think I am the only one that loves the burple dials. Now for something that can never be mistaken for a gen. However I really like it for its uniqueness and all round Repness.
  19. It is all gen except for the case and the movement is a Hybrid Yuki / Rolex The dial is a 16803 and the Xtal is a Rolex SubC crystal. I am not tempted to go that deep into Franken territory again lol. I will probably buy the gen the next time I get obsessed by a watch.
