  1. guys, thanks for the nice comments... if you ever have the chance to get one...get it! you won't regret (in case you do, there is always market for these - they can easilly be sold despite their high price)..
  2. K...that's a perfect combo...both are nice although I prefer the distressed one a little bit more...CAJUN straps seem to be great quality....I already wanted to order one but have too many gator straps already...but they are definitely on my strap list to get...
  3. here is what I have found on the AC on 'risti - the guy is selling there the preV screws...don't know if it is from the same source as where you guys buy them : hxxp://www.network54.com/Forum/353393/thread/1224053836/last-1224053836/FS+PRE-V+WATCH+5218-201A%2C+202A+SERIES+TUBES+%26amp%3B+SCREWS replace the xx with tt and it should work for you..
  4. I will enclose a couple pics more with a special guest that I found today while I was coming home back from work...he agreed to have a photosession with the Angelus and after it was done I gave the little fella something to eat&dring and let him go in my garden... so here are the pics : My name is Cornelius... hey, what's the time....we better start the photo session or it will get dark... Let's do a photo session! It's late, I'd better hit the road : bye!
  5. nice one...you should upgrade the dial with a nice FGD dial and you would have a winner there... enjoy your new baby!
  6. thanks! your PAM collection needs one of these vintage PAM...
  7. I keep returning to all this posts about selfmade Vintage Panerai...I am really impressed by the skills some of you have...especially to members that are managing to install the Angelus to fit perfectly the case and dial...doing your own parts...I can only imagine how much hard work has been put into to manage to achieve this fantastic results...once again congrats and bump for this post...
  8. thanks hex! I really wanted to put a lot of pics of this one since there are not a lot of owners and there were never good photos of the completed watches...I really hope all of you will enjoy the photos...
  9. I will wear this for the whole week...just cannot get it off of my wrist...it's been attached to my wrist since almost 10 days, and I had to wind it only once (and it is a manual wind mvt)...yes, you guessed right : the Angelus powered Vintage PAM 6152/1
  10. better pics are in a new thread : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=84478&hl= Tons of pics...modem melter!
  11. As promised, here are the better pics of my Vintage Panerai 6152/1 Angelus SF240 done by VDB...
  12. there is no such rep at the moment
  13. thank you very much for the comparison photos...now it is very easy to spot the differences....
  14. cool looking photos...and nice pieces you have/had....
  15. Looking good Ross...love the look of the tritium lume, looks nicely aged...
  16. yep, the kidney left the house but the good news is that the other one is functioning properly... ubi, you started with the preV PAMs lately...one of these vinty's would be a nice addition to your collection... R! thanks for the nice words and for your kind offer...
  17. I am really enjoying it...had it on my wrist since you gave it to me...got a lot of compliments as well...this one is only a start of a nice vintage collection that I plan... we'll meet next time when I will come to pick up my 2nd vintage...
  18. yes, the strap is as well from Stephan...he made me pick one strap from a dozen of them...
  19. thanks my friend...will try to do them in the following week...had no camera with me at the moment...only my phone cam..not that bad in the end...
  20. thanks for the nice words guys... I will focus now on to build a nice vintage PAM collection - a small one (another 2-3 pieces)...I will need time and money to do it, but it is completely worth...especially after I have seen all VDB's pieces at the GTG in Erfurt... I cannot explain, but I actually don't see this watch as a replica, at least not in the same league as the reps we are used to have and see on the forums (and I am not meaning that because of the price of a watch like this)...this one has got something more...it is not a mass produced "replica", it is rarer than the genuine piece... this one gets all the wrist time lately...and the amount of compliments I got is impressive as well...
  21. enjoy the pics of a unique VDB's creation - Vintage Panerai 6152/1 Angelus SF240 powered watch... This was my grail watch ever since I saw it for the first time...since I saw the first replica piece done by the Watchmaster followed by some nice work by Enzo and ending by the fabulous work done by VDB...it was a dream until a week ago when I finally got it... so here are some pics (sorry, they were taken with a phone camera so they are not of the best quality - better pics will follow this week but I want to share my joy with all of you until then)...
