  1. Here is one from MarvellousRreplica http://v.yupoo.com/photos/mrwatch/albums/26723815/?style=story The hour hand is wrong, the bracelet is wrong (not riveted and clasp) and the case is wrong (non drilled lug holes). Dial is fairly accurate. Here is a gen from Chrono24 http://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/ss-op-very-rare-silver-baton-dial-vintage-milgauss-1019--id4218156.htm The bracelet is correct for this year (1970) as they did come with all of Rolex variants. FWIW, Trusty's example is pretty close to a 27K dollar watch. The font differences and such are not going to be noticed from more than a foot away anyway. Also the dial will vary over the span of the years in production. Gen dials, last time I checked were in the 4K-5K range if you could find one available. I say go for it and enjoy. It's a great watch.
  2. There is always the Miyota 8215. Drops right in and no need for new hands/dial. If you are in the US, here's where to get one. http://www.ofrei.com/page625.html
  3. Here you go: From Trusty http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_81&products_id=2435 From Asian Tony http://www.7750asian.com/product_show.asp?P_id=461
  4. Have you reached any resolution with your watch? I may know of someone that works only on A7750 movements. PM me if you are still in need of repairs.
  5. Great call GenTLe! Looks like the first listing, the straps can accept the deploy from OP. Very good resource you are!
  6. Here you go. http://www.pf-818.com/-p-18862.html Not sure if this will work as the post says "for small Asian......"
  7. Must be a Polar Explorer Day!!! Very cool!
  8. Thank you NW, I'm sure I will throw a few around. I will say this, folks are actually knowledgeable about these. Kinda feel like I'm back to basics. See a post I may be able to help someone and find the issue has been solved. Steep learning curve to keep up with
  9. What gave it away? The crown? Love the GMT hand you have too... Very nice! Bullheads are pretty scarce, wear it well..
  10. Beauty! Is it a cream dial or just the light? Either way, congrats on a great pick-up! Here's mine...just have to remember which one is the rep
  11. That is an affliction I can come to grips with....I think.....yeah, I can, wait....yes, I am sure I can handle that...
  12. 308 Hybrid ETA 7753 movement, gen hands
  13. It is great to see the quality has gone up, but the other side of the coin shows that we are paying much more for it. That is ok, I don't mind not having to do incredible mods to get the pieces close to what is, in my mind, acceptable. Thank you for the warm welcome back Mike! Glad to have this forum available with the experience and knowledge for all. Best!
  14. Wow! Thank you for the info. Much more in depth than what I could find. Saving it to my HD and bookmarks.
  15. Sorry, I'm thinking of two different things, Rolexfinder..
