crystal height and spacing of text the main complaints (looks worse in macro shots then real life i suspect) so far, . I am still confused whether one of the customer big crown crystals will fit this model. As apparently if it does it should save you shaving down the crystal gasket as its ever so slightly thinner then the rep crystal. Can anyone confirm? It seems the black dial steel case is the way to go, that was until I saw the new pvd version prohunter version and saw that the spacing of the bottom line of text has been fixed, and was about to pull the trigger and then when comparing to the website, they made a stupid mistake by putting PRO-HUNTER rather then PROHUNTER A prohunter with the everest strap ( http://everestbands.com/shop/submariner-ceramic-everest-band-black/ ) would look really cool - and who would ever have seen the original duo to call you out.

stay well away from the many shoe store/watch repair places around town. Most will turn it away and look there nose up, but there are a few backstreet places, that will help but will say that there is no warranty and if they break something else trying to fix it, its your problem. There are a few watch places located in the underground stations, but there skill set is limitedt to changing straps, batteries. Some people have used a guy in picadily circus station, but there are as many bad reports as good. There is a member called Smidsy, not sure which forum who has a good rep. other options are sending to france or gernany where you have Domi and Wiz. I needed a tx crystal put in a v6 hub this week, went around town, with no joy then i remembered that the debenams store has a watch repair place on oxford street, they dont do auto movements, but he gave me a look, took my watch and fitted the crystal, came back and said as he cant warrant the work, he wont charge me, result! There is also a watch repair place near farringdon on top of a sweet shop that do work for the many jewellers in town and work on omega's etc, depending on who you talk to they may or may not help.

I still wish they would go back to offering the seconds at 9 dial from a few years back. At least it avoids the seconds at 6 jerkyness

I bought one, and I have 2 problems, the first is that I just could not get the bezel off and ended up scratching the case to pieces, any tips. Secondly when I gave up and took it to my local watch guy, he took one look at the thickness of the crystal and said there is no way that is going to fit in the case you are showing me. So it seems the seller who sold me a UPO case (for me to upgrade my standard case) screwed me out of $90 So, may end up sticking the crystal up for sale, but agree that it does look great.

Do a search for the deep stream version, they are still around. I just ordered one on steel last week. However build is not as good as the old ones

I have one on the bracelet sitting in my watch box, and a brand new rubber strap that came with it but never worn. Let me know if its of interest and Ill shoot you some pics when I am back home (next weekend)

Description has been edited as I said that case size us wrong. So now they state it's the correct 44mm but as others have said way to many flaws. Dial also has a wrong word printed on it.

This is not the first story of this issue, Ive read at least 3 others when the first 359 from pt came out. simple to fix, but frustrating to have to resolve as it should have been spotted/checked.

Being a Londoner it sickens me to see this. Fact is the government have allowed a 4th class to be created over the last 10-15 years with Many poor decisions, both in education, income support and more. These are a generation of vermin who believe the world owes them everything and if they can't have it they steel it. In most cases the parents are just as bad and expect the schools to fix there bad parenting. Sadly we don't have the quality of teachers in many areas, or the discipline that I had (the fear of getting the cane at school did not do me any harm at all) I was in north London and saw with my own eyes parents pulling up outside jdsports and letting there young kids roll in to take what they wanted as there was no fear of being reprimanded. And it's not just kids, I saw a couple in there 40's using a shopping cart to wheel down the road a flat screen tv they just still... It's disgusting. A family owned furniture business for more then 100 years was burnt to the ground, the Sony distribution centre was robbed then burnt to the ground. Because of there action over 300 people in these instances alone now have no job. And who will be paying for the repairs, us the tax payer because it is being classed as a riot which gives most insurance companies immunity from claims. If it were up to me, I'd drown the lot of them... Rant over.

The rubber on stitch is still nothing like the original. Best bet is to buy one from ofrei or look on eBay. In fact an original rubber/White stitch with curved ends (latest design) sold today for about $175ish, and the 20mm sold for $140ish

I would go with the steel, and buy an original rubber strap as they are not that expensive. Then you got best of both world.

Did you have trouble changing it? I tried the screw on mine to remove by case and it would not budge. I recall someone mentioning pushing in from the other side?
