Thanks guys for the support, I bought from MQ expecting to receive top quality, since a few people have recommended him. I’ll give MQ reasonable chance to return/refund, otherwise he’ll get flamed.
I think I’m going to go for the JKF since I’ve already got a gen clasp. Will have to learn a little more about the ‘hollow’ links. -
Thanks for the idea about getting one from a TD and selling the rest, I’ll start looking. Photos of the MQ 93150 bracelet which came with dents, scratches, and polished sides (I believe they should be brushed):

Hey guys, I’m pretty deep into a 1665 double red franken, I have a gen clasp already, but I’m looking for a 93150 with either 580 or 585 end links.
Can you gentlemen recommend how to source this bracelet?
I just spent $380 buying a 93150 rep from MQ but it’s really shocking quality, I’ve asked to return it. -
@jackflash , also mbw bracelet and clasp?
-
Yes, you don't understand.
Must the Tubehole drilled to right dimensions?
No I think it is the right diameter already.- 1

Thanks mate, do u know if the Tubehole must be drilled or only retapped?
Have you tried the Rep-crown on the generic Tube?
By the way DW?We talk about ARF!
The case needs to be tapped and countersunk. The crown is stock ARF, I put it next to my gen 704 crown and man, there is no difference whatsoever. The DW in mine is still ARF stock, I don’t think I’ll overlay a gen DW. Now this watch is waterproof it’s finished for me.
Gen crystal, gen click springs, WSO gen spec tube, HE valve has been bonded shut from the inside with marine grade super glue. All 5 crown and tube gaskets in place. I’m finished :-) -
Do u have Pics.
I've done it on all my Rolexes in the past.
Has the Tubehole right dimensions or must it drilled too?
Tripdog did the work for me:

I had to have my SD43 tapped and countersunk to accept a gen spec 7030 tube. The ARF stock tube is poorly glued in there and certainly not reliably water resistant. I used loctite blue on the tube thread plus all 5 gaskets to seal her up tight.

Ryan’s service is still good.

I’ve sent you a PM, I can do this for you.

Thanks! I'm not usually a big fan of green, but this one is growing on me. I do love the maxi dial and hands though, so I may throw a black bezel insert on it for a bit to see what I think.

I think the date wheel font is good, however the numbers are not ‘gloss’ like the gen date wheel numbers which can catch the light very slightly.

Yes sir

In the end I didn’t think the date wheel needed modding; what do you think?

ARF V2 all day, i've had 2 so far:-)
Ahhhh now you’ve got me reconsidering my original decision! I imagine the new 116610’s are going to take a few months to settle down anyway... I guess I’ll pip for the SD43 ! -
@Legend what’s your opinion on the XF dial, I’ve read it more ‘wet look’ and better than the JF.
-
The ARF is widely regarded as an incredible ootb rep. I’ve seen a few people remove the cyclops on it too and it looks amazing.
I’ve been very close to buying it, but I prefer my 40mm rollie’s and the Noob V9 sub and New ARF sub are about to hit the market with 3135’s, I’m waiting impatiently!- 1

This is a pretty common issue, would be great to hear from some of our experienced modders.
-
Thanks man, I’ve just added gen hands to this now and will wait for the ARF 114060 to be released and will swap everything in to the ARF.

@alfa1 I do agree that the Kens High Dial is the difference maker, however the purchase price of the TC is +$700 when the JF is +$400, you can fit a gen dial on the 3135 for not much more than the difference.
As for the availability of the 3135 parts, I have had no issues sourcing the 3 parts I’ve needed when modding.
I’m not sure what the TC clasp is like, but I think the JF clasp is poor and the only major flaw to the watch. -
My opinion, nowadays, is that I wouldn’t buy a 5 digit sub without a SH3135 movement in it, something which TC’s do not have. You can pick up a JF for $400, throw in a gen insert and date wheel for an extra $250 and you have an excellent sub for $650. In my opinion, better than a TC. Just my humble opinion though, others will disagree I’m sure.
