  1. I pre-ordered it - think beta tester... should be released for public ordering soon. I think they are waiting for full Honeycomb release for public sales... Google just released on Honeycomb so it should be soon.
  2. Not a Xoom but I did get my Notion Ink Adam last week and am very happy with it and at $500 for a totally unlocked and open source device it is much less expensive than the Xoom or iPad - plus it has USB, HDMI, etc. ports lacking on the others. Will have to wait a few weeks for Honeycomb update but I have hacked the ROM to EdenX (custom ROM based on core Froyo/Gingerbread hybrid and give Market access) and it is working very fast and smooth - plus it has Flash - Xoom doesn't yet... Blows away my iPad... I really liked the PixelQi screen today while in full sunlight I could use Google Maps navigation in the car with no glare. Downloaded the new wave of games designed for the Tegra 2 machines like Xoom and Adam - Samurai II Vengeance is awesome. My link
  3. I think the lighting has a lot to do with the DLC color. In photos it can vary from dark black to pencil gray. In person the DLC is more grayish I have had both DLC and PVD gens and the PVD was definitely darker. IMHO - having owned both the DLC is far superior - not even a contest... I am going to have a PAM case DLC'd for me soon Here is a pic of one of my gen DLCs - looks very black here in this light: Looks pencil lead gray here:
  4. DLC Rubberclad Flyback Chrono today The "pop" on this dial face is unbelievable - orange peel dial with raised markers outlines in 18k gold.
  5. These new Sinn's look good -- not great IMO but nice Once you have had a chrono with left-side pushers I doubt you will go back I will let you try to figure out which one I have: Left-side chrono pushers Central minutes hand In-house SWISS auto movmt Display back Rotating inner bezel 43mm Carbon-fiber face A work of art. BTW -- as nice as the left-side pushers are -- the central minutes indicator is my favorite chrono feature - so much more usable.
  6. Orange Monster (with bracelet and rubber strap) en route Merry Christmas to me
  7. Corgi -- It's an auto -- the gen it is based on is a handwind however.
  8. Looks like she made the trip across the planet in one piece Pics look great - hope you enjoy her -- she is a beautiful watch
  9. My only Ti currently - but I do have my eye on another -- watch that is though I agree with TWP on the best "shot" of the day -- having trouble keeping my eyes off those as well .
  10. That's bad news TWP The 177 is my favorite PAM -- though I am more of a 177G guy myself
  11. Winter get-away in Scottsdale, AZ - the Valley of the Sun and GOLF Summer get-away in Estes Park, CO - cool in the summer and lots for the kids to do
  12. Great to see River back I ordered my wife one of his ladies Rolex Masterpieces several years ago. He used to be able to source the best of these -- not sure if he still can. It is probably the best rep I have ever purchased. She wears it everyday and it still looks/runs great. She has several gens but won't wear them - prefers the Masterpiece and doesn't have the stress of worrying about a $$$$$ watch. I have thought about contacting him to see if he can still get them to order a future replacement if needed. Welcome back River
  13. I have one -- will try to post some pics tomorrow when I get home from a trip. I think it is a great look Looks very classy IMO I've had it a few months -- never worn. The bracelet was too short (I take XL straps) -- got an extra link from the seller but just haven't had time to adjust it. I will probably sell it soon anyway -- have my eye on another gen
  14. Congrats on the Skyland! I had the SS version on yesterday at my AD. Very very nice watch also my favorite current Breitling. I previously had a gen Chrono Av (and the rep of course) and think they really hit all the right buttons with this new Skyland. I was hoping they would have a blacksteel version but alas no luck -- said maybe next month as they are getting many new and special pieces in prior to a major Swiss watch event at the AD. I was wearing my gen GP Sea Hawk 2 USA-71 (on bracelet) yesterday which is 42mm - I was suprised that to my eye the Skyland (45mm) was no larger (though much thicker). To me, my 44mm PAM is visually larger than my USA-71. I have nothing but rave comments about the Skyland but it really wasn't fair to compare it to the GP which to me is one of the most aesthetically pleasing divers ever crafted and the best bracelet by far that I have owned. I do want to see the blacksteel Skyland however -- but it will have to super impress to make me switch from my current chrono sport watch the GP R&D-01 -- the central minute chrono indicator, four subdials and left-hand chrono pushers are superb
  15. GP actually developed a series for the BMW/Oracle team - the USA 87 isn't my favorite either (though the std. edition R&D 01 is awesome). My fav is the USA 71 Carbon Fiber Glory On the wrist With PAM177 Very nice lume
