Hmm I canceled my 177 due to crown dissatisfaction - however I thought that the PVD was fine.... just checked the pics and cleverly photographed to hid this... I wasn't even looking for this and the PVD helps the mystery but it is likely it will have this divot... Will see when it lands - not super happy tho...

Thanks SSS! I do have pics of a gen I lost out on getting (I took too long deliberating) - however none of that section of the gen. It's close... just the DSN has the o-ring visible. Both Gen and Rep display the stem slightly... Thanks!

Yep I changed to title twice: maybe it was too ambiguous. Anyway - if you think the second pics are fine - let me know if I'm being too perfective.... but or $400+ I'd want it to be right.

Hi All, I commissioned David for a 177 a while back and he's got the movements in - and sent me pics. However the crown was too far out on the first one and I asked him to make it more flush: So he found another that he had and sent pics. Is this still too far out? Your thoughts? Just want to be sure before he sends it Ta..

What bugs me is that Narikka has practically identical watches and they both have different dials!! Now that is annoying...

Thoughts? These guys need to take some more time studying the Gen than the different reps. Plenty of pics on risti, and via risti. The gen has a finish with a quality of finish unlike any rep out there except perhaps the Rolli 232 PVD. The gloss or even brushed finish on most reps is nowhere near the real deal. It might look like black porcelain, but the 292 is not porcelain - its a composite matte finish. Davidsens PVD would be the closest to it on a wider production scale, however as far as I'm aware - he's not running these yet. So my thoughts for this one lie in the same direction as all the others.. Nice watch by itself - not not close enough to the gen for my tastes.

This is looking very tempting... so - whats the reality of this - we going to get this off the ground as a bunch?

Also the other pic from Gen is the lack of strap removal system.... This is tempting me.... I pre-bought two straps for a 177H gen sale that fell through... how sad anyway - I'm thinking about this one... looks hot... but scared with DSN's rep lately

Hi All - Just here from Australia - been an admirer of Panny's for a long-long time - just picked up a fairly ordinary clone in Beijing three weeks ago - contemplating the real deal - but want to test drive some more "faithful reps before sinking the dough into the investment. Funny thing is I like my 250RMB clone... LOL Oh well - I'm a fiddy fan since they were released five years ago - so I might need to get a DSN ultimate as the first quality rep... We'll see. Cheers...
