  1. Morning guys, Has anyone got a contact number for Adrian?
  2. So do you send your watch to Steve for the glass to be replaced? Anyone got his contact details?
  3. I'm looking to buy a planet ocean rep and I can't decide between a couple. They are on Trustytime, but I am a total noobie when it comes to rep watches, movements etc. Basically I want a nice looking watch that isn't going to fall apart, hence trusting a reputable seller on here. Now, I really like the look of this one, and at $118 it's the cheapest he has: http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=16394 But I also like this one: http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=16786 Now, it's double the price, but will I see any difference as a newbie with movement etc? I won't ever use the chrono features, but I do prefer them to a plain face
  4. I've not been on here for a while, are there any updates on the watch now it's on US soil?
  5. Well, I thought I would have a little fiddle with this while the back was off. Got myself an opened up paperclip and span the little cog round with the 4 posts on a few times. As if by magic, it's sprung into life.
  6. Yeah, I never use the chrono stuff anyways, but I do like the extra dials. Something about a plane faces watch I can't get to grips with. I think I might just go for it and skip this piece if junk.
  7. I paid less than £40 for it, which is why I didnt really want to spend much on it to repair it. If I was going to replace it, I really like the look of this one from Trusty http://trustytimestore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=16394
  8. I bought this over a year ago and was switching between this and my U-boat rep, having not worn it for a month or so, I came to put it on but it doesn't seem to want to restart, despite some swinging left to right etc. It's automatic movement, but I couldn't tell you what type, probably some crappy chinese stuff. Are these prone to simply stopping, or do we think something has come lose? I don't want to get my [censored] felt by a local repair shop if it's something I could possibly sort myself. If it is the movement, is this something that can be swapped out for a replacement, or better, for fairly cheap? Thanks in advance guys, and please be gentle, I am a proper noob when it comes to this stuff 2018-06-15_08-08-13 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2018-06-15_08-15-36 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2018-06-15_08-16-03 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2018-06-15_08-16-11 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr
  9. You're right, it is. Everytime I Bent my wrist back it popped open, so I had to get a little screwdriver in to tighten up the grip. Unfortunately, it's stopped working completely too.
  10. I'm happy to take her for a run around Manchester
  11. The look like mozzarella sticks from McDonalds
  12. That blue of your shirt really makes the pink pop
