  1. I got a guy in SJ that, while I haven't taken reps to, has always taken care of me in an expedited and reasonable manner. For a quick fix, I HAVE taken a rep over to the kiosk in Miliptas' Great Mall (movement swap, and hand fell off). I'm sure they just farmed it out, but it was taken care of. -k
  2. Jacob, Precista was sold on eBay. Thanks.

  3. Have you still the Precista watch?

    My email is jacobocg@ono.com

    Please, answer me soon.

    Thanks.

  4. Check with Everest Watch Works. If you can get a replacement bezel, Kent might do the work for you. While you're at it you can get the damn thing relumed.
  5. NO...it does give you some insane pumps in the gym (I suppose from the vasodilating effects) but versus NOT taking it? I have to admit, I'm only taking it when I remember to because the mix I take (NO-XPLODE) also has stimulants in it that helps kick my ass into gear much like the old "Ultimate Orange" did back in the days (except no Ephedrine derived substances) I will say this much, I also don't mind the other side effect of NO-XPLODE (and other Arginine based supps)...the stuff gives me wicked BONERS the rest of the day!
  6. Thanks JD. I have to many "murdered out" combos (black on black) to jump on this actual one, but if someone combined the regular blasted steel to the GEN blasted steel bracelet with great results, this may be a strong possibility. Dollars to dollars, the U1 used to show up used on forums on the bracelet for sometimes even LESS than $1000 which kind of doesn't justify the GEN bracelet (new) for me, but the U2 is pricey enough that I think it's the next natural step for a "mod".
  7. lol @ Demsey. Real talk. I mentioned the Milgauss in one of the other threads and no one seemed to give a rat's ass and now it's this big revelation. Whatever. So who's gonna take a plunge on the first one?
  8. I was staring at pics of the Gen as well as all the images of the U2 I could.... It's an awesome replication for sure, but I think the U1 has less tells. Besides nitpicky bezel and dial details I won't go over (unless I had them in front of me or see better images), I could plainly see that the GMT hand is a bit longer on the rep than it is on the gen. The gen hand just skims above the GMT time markers, and the rep seems to go over the number a bit on the images I've seen. Other than that, it's clean out of the box. I don't know of anyone that would go as far as to mod the dial and hands on these just YET. The big question that we've all been asking is...will a gen bracelet fit? Cmon someone, shell out the $300! Oh and congrats bro, don't mind my analysis, she's a beaut! kdx
  9. Looks like Josh is now selling an updated Milgauss with this movement dropped in it, for like, close to 3 bills.
  10. Excellent and concise descriptions. However I would like to add that the part about the Carrera Twin-Time's faux GMT is a little erroneous regarding the Gen. I have a Gen and the GMT hand is under the hour hand, and it is a true 2893 based movement (Caliber 7). The blurb about the GMT hand may make one think that ANY GMT hand under the hour hand is a "faux GMT". Otherwise, very educational.
  11. Wow, that was fast mate. I really ought to ship registered more often. =) I'm glad you received the watch in good order....and that it helped you gain an appreciation for your SMP. I actually had a Seamaster GMT a while back that was stolen, and through all watches gen and rep, its the one that I've never gotten quite over. Your pictures are superb. I really ought to learn how to utilize outdoor lighting more. -k
  12. There are a lot of people that come down on "CONUS only" or "EU only" sellers, but after this experience I can kind of see where they are coming from. I have never been one to limit my sales or purchase to US only but this really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
  13. Its been well over a month since I've been expecting an ETA noob to arrive "Express" via Deutsch Post. Nothing. Not even a customs note. All tracking says it that it was scanned in the US and the trail becomes cold there. The thing is...I don't think its inherently Deutsch Post. I've had a Rollie rep stolen via USPS before.... Two sub homages (one Invicta, the other a Debaufre or something) were swiped. One was actually recovered as it was on camera as it was being stolen, no doubt by someone who had access to the X-ray machine and knew what was inside (or what they thought was in there). Has this ever happened to anyone? I just have BAD LUCK when it comes to Submariners and the US Mail. I suppose it didn't help that the Noob from Germany had rep papers....that probably really made the Customs bastards DROOL. I wonder if I will ever see my WM9 v2 now....
  14. This is old news. Davidsen is referenced all the time in all the other watch forums. WUS, TZ, I think maybe even PMWF. As long as its not a rep, its fair game. Some people are like, "Who's Davidsen?". That's when the PM feature becomes handy.
  15. I just wrote George and begged him not to give me one with a funky tube or jacked up rehaut. I hope its not too late. A few case scratches are not gonna kill me as I'll probably put them on there myself...this watch is going to be used. However, a messed up rehaut is gonna [censored] me off something fierce, I'm not trying to take the watch apart if I can help it. Thanks bk, I should've went with my original impulse and PMed you instead, but the budget was tight and it sounded like a good deal....
