  1. Just dropping a quick message here to say thanks again sputim for the group buy opportunity. The bars are great quality. I've used them in my TS-Watch 6542. They look and fit great. The watch case I was drilling myself... less great! I ruined it. Ah well, lessons learned, move on and all that.
  2. Well I'll be doing the case drilling, so there's almost NO chance of that...
  3. Marvellous! Thanks again for organising this sputim, and I look forward to receiving my pack of springbars. Looks like I picked the right week to order a new drill press, which arrived yesterday...

Well, there’s always the SD43... I really like Seikos too, and keep almost buying examples off EBay, but I just haven’t quite seen the right one yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Cool, cheers keeper - I think we were (to use one of my favourite phrases) at cross porpoises for a minute there. I agree - it's way better to be safe than sorry! Also, I'm a noob here at RWG so it's really not in anyone's interest to take my word for anything! I'm really happy with the QC pics he sent me, BTW. Apart from the DateJust having the wrong bezel style (which is an easy thing to get wrong, and easily fixed!). Mrs. n0bby does not want a "diamond" encrusted bezel...
  6. Mate, that’s fine - I’m not a spokesperson for PC, so I’ve got no problem whatever the admins decide to do here. But on “the other” RWG PC is a TD and the current URL and email details are there for all to see and use. That’s what I used, and as I said - I’ve just had QC pics for the watches I bought using that site URL and that email address.
  7. Superb collection. If you decide to part with any of the Subs, I’ll be watching with great interest... along with many others I’m sure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Unless this is the sort of scammer that finds it amusing to send you QC pics as part of a really elaborate con... We good! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. “Currently the watch box has a surplus of "Super"-frankens.” “A surplus” implies you have more than you want/need. Are you planning on selling some hologramet?
  10. I’d like to order the 2mm spring bars please, if I’ve managed to squeeze in before the deadline!
  11. No, you’re right - I checked again and it’s the TD list HERE where I got the new URL from. So... lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Glad to hear someone else confirming it lol... I had a small heart attack when I saw 508-Fanatic’s “this one doesn’t look like his” comment and spent the next 5 minutes checking and re-checking that I hadn’t been sucked into ordering from a scammer... it’s my first order from Josh, so I was unfamiliar with his comms, and looking back at them I could easily have been following payment instructions from anyone claiming to be “Joshua”... 13. If that’s a scam version of PC, then I’ve been scammed out of £350... pf-838.com is listed as the URL on RWI in the TDs listings. That’s what I’ve been using. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. If money was no object, then the opportunity to own a piece of history would be my main motivation for owning a real one over a really good rep. That goes for all of the vintage Rolex tool range, regardless of relative market values. The milsub wouldn’t be my first choice - but with a bottomless pit of money it would definitely be one I’d want in the gen Rolex collection. Of course I’d be so rich, I could ensure I was getting the real thing, with a water-tight provenance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
