  1. Im speechless. I don't know which is more impressive, the pics or the work. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Maybe I'm not searching well enough. that's what I'm presuming from the no responses. I searched google and our search for AP ROO lume and AP ROO lume shots Not enough maybe? Can't figure out why nobody has replied. Thought this was a unique topic, different from the "who has the best ___" I see every other post
  3. I have searched on the web and the AP section but still I have a question that's only partially answered... Which ROOs have lumed dials? I know the numerals on the black themes are I know the White face, Grey subdials have lumed numerals also. Anyone know for sure of others? And my big quesition is whether the blue face, white numerals is lumed.... going to bed....too frustrated...
  4. I really want an 029 or 089, but as usual my eyes are bigger than my budget. I am not really worried about accuracy as much as having a watch that keeps good time (keeping my priorities right)... Ive read that last couple posts abomut that badass 029s that The Zigmeister has made and the trouble he had putting good movements in them. I also know that 7750 aren't great either. So can anyone help me out with this....b/c i know jacks### about movements... My budget is around 300. Should I get a 21J movement 029 and do som simepl mods like AR, DW, which i guess are the kind of important ones, expecting to have to replace the movement anyway (for200-300$) ...OR... Go for the 029 with the modified GMT movement (dont remember teh # designation...) that's in the "ultimate" cartel reps (300+) ...OR... go for an DSN 089 or the like: http://www.rwg.cc/members/089-Gmt-t71854.html I guess my question is, "since I cant afford a great movement (7753, 2893-2etc...) should I just settle for a bottom of the line one and replace it as needed, or should I get a middle of the road movement, get it serviced, and pray that it doesnt seize up on me?" Thanks all in advance. Im jealous of the following people: http://www.rwg.cc/members/The Zigmeister-masterpiece-t95681.html http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pam-29-Luminor-GMT-ETA-t94757.html http://www.rwg.cc/members/Fully-Modded-PAM-089-t95723.html http://www.rwg.cc/members/Panerai-029-GMT-...289-t95362.html
  5. Are there any graham reps with dates? i have never seen one on the forums. Also, can someone key me in to where to look for them. I really only look at josh/andrews sites. thanks ND
  6. anyone have The Zigmeister's contact info. his pm box has been full forever. thanks
  7. what a waste of skin. Completely vapid. And all that botox over her unshapely face makes her look like a horse...
  8. I was just wondering......how come I have yet to see a Concord C1 on a wristcheck? Too "new" -- not enough nostalgia for true conosseiurs? (is that spelled right?) ps. My SOH is about to end up on every one of these since I finally got my camera
  9. I can understand having the bezel protected by the protruding crystal...kind of.... +1Demsey but I still think having AR under would make sense
  10. Ive been wondering about what lume would be good to match the look of the original tritium, too. Looks great
  11. what was your bottom line cost? also, wasnt the 2836-2 version an old model not made anymore? Did you get it new?
  12. wont quartz reps lack a sweeping second hand, though, making it a dead giveaway?
  13. Been thinking about a ProHunter rep and asking around about all black and/or ceramic pieces, but I was just thinking.... Will I want to wear this watch in three years? I already wonder if I am going to want to keep wearing my bigass SOH in a few years. Looking back at how styles change in watches just like anything else, I'm inclined to talk myself out of it. What do you all think?
  14. those are badass, Polex... I finally pulled the trigger today. I used a 30$ off coupon and used the 20 off on the site, for a total savings of 50 bucks. http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p1_...es_10051_SEARCH I did have to settle for the cheap point and shoot for now. Thanks again all for the suggestions. I'm gonna give 'digital macros' a hell of a shot if nothing else. --ND
