AND...Red's Snowflake? Beautiful. I had to touch the pearl!!

Nice find!!! It's in great shape too! Let's see where this one goes
After tonight's GTG...are you buying it???
-
FANTASTIC. You're family is a keeper.
-
That's right...send the watch next time...you can stay Stateside if you have to.
Great time. If anyone's had doubts...but how could you...Red and Andreww are top rate guys. Hack's bar tab contribution made for a wobbly ride home though. HAH!

Let's say 6pm at the Strathcona Pub? How's that sound for people?
-
Very nice. It's great to see some classic designs that are represented too often.
-
AWESOME. Zig's work on the SMP is awesome indeed. Great stuff. I do like the black one.

Hi folks,
Stacey and I are still game. I'm thinking it might be raining this Friday, so a patio is not a great idea. The Pub in the Strathcona Hotel that Andreww mentioned is good for pub food...or if we want something more ritzy, the Beer Bistro is a bit funkier, but will be louder.
Any final decision?
I'm thinking after work...maybe 6pm?
What say you guys?
-
There was a REALLY crappy rep of it made...just solid red, blue white sub registers...HORRIBLE. The real one in person isn't bad...a little too "faddish" for me though.
-
So what are people's preference? I would be good with
- Strathcona Hotel bar
- Beer Bistro
- Alice Fazooli's backyard patio
So far...I'm good to go!!
-
Fantastic job!!!

An Explorer II is always a great watch to add to the collection. Great stuff...and a nice pic too. Thanks for shearing...and welcome to the forum!!
-
Thanks for the feedback on this. Very interesting indeed.
-
That's beautiful...a great piece to be excited about.
-
Whoaah...that's interesting. What has Domi or Zig said about the durability of the approach of using bearings instead of jewels? I don't imagine this is a good thing.

Hello fellow torontonian
after a new property tax hike this year, land transfer tax and having to pay double to renew license plate tags I hope to assist you in finding the cheapest dealer here
Don't forget the Personal Vehicle Tax!! We've got it all...
-
Nice pick Dave!!! Would love to see that in person. You haven't scored a Chronomatic 49 by any chance have you?
-
Awesome. I wasn't a big fan of this one until I bought one on a whim...love it now...and with the gen dial and hands. Wonderful!!
-
Thumbs up for the gator option on the Skyland. I've never been as big a fan of the smooth leather Breitling options...croc is slick!!
-
Agreed...I've thought of the gen a few times.
-
Try the links now...just fixed that one. Sorry for that...and welcome to the forum. I'm from Toronto as well, as are a number of key folks here.
