  1. Yes vlydog that is the original bracelet. I considered a gen but I see no need at this time
  2. Here we go- It's a Bk/Wm9 V2 with gen crown/tube, gen insert and gen crystal. The gen crystal really sets this already incredible watch on fire!
  3. No sir. Keep em coming...answer in a few hours- unless someone gets it first!
  4. I've been after this one for a long time! Well the time has come and it has finally arrived:D Comments/crtiques are welcome:D Without further delay:
  5. I thought about getting an NDT trading dial but Pbdad did such an incredible job with the lume- I see no need now. A gen dial would be around 5k
  6. Thank you fellas! So is this the vintage Rollie club you speak of?
  7. The bracelet is gen. The 580 endlinks are rep..I'm on the hunt for some gen 585 endlinks:)
  8. Well fellas this one has been a while in the making but I finally got it back yesterday and I can say it is now complete. I may be wrong but I haven't seen a DRSD at this franken level ever:D Specs: - Original MBW DRSD 1665 case (accepts all gen parts 1:1) - MBW dial with vintage lume done by the master, PBdad. - GEN Original Tropic 39 Acrylic Superdome Crystal (as used by Rolex on the original 1665's) - GEN Bezel Insert & Recessed Pearl- gen vintage service insert from Rolex - GEN Rolex crown and tube with case drilled to accept the gen tube - GEN 93150 vintage Rolex bracelet- OEM 1665 Rolex bracelet! - GEN thick rolex spring bars - Case was Completely Refinished, Aged & Rounded and has shaved Crown Guards - Upgraded Date wheel w/ Correct Font (6/9) Sorry for the quick and dirty pics- this one deserves a proper photo shoot which I should be able to do this weekend. Of course I've never held a gen DRSD but I can't imagine it feeling/looking any different than this! Pics for your enjoyment:
  9. Thanks guys. Camera is a nikon D40 with a combination of the 35mm F1.8 prime lens and the kit 18-55 lens. I'm still not fully weight bearing on my fractured ankle hence the slight camera shake in some pics. I was too lazy to get the tripod:D
  10. Well guys i've been through my fair share of reps (the majority being panerai) but this has got to be my all time favorite until something tops it! Started off with Davidsen's incredible 027A with vintage lume and ETA Soprod movt. Added a completely reshaped and polished ultimate CG and a spot on T48 crown (thanks S for all the help!). The watch by itself is fantastic but suffer from the typical thin crown and cg. I still have a broken ankle and can't really move around a lot so my pictures aren't the greatest and this watch definitely deserves it's own photo shoot soon. I'm in love:p :p
  11. Thanks FGD. Your dial is what makes this watch!
  12. Here are pics of my pre-v 203a in a DSN pvd case that has been refinished with a cape cod cloth.
  13. Well guys i've been after a pre-v for quite some time. Needless to say i'm absolutely thrilled with this piece! Specs: DSN Pre-V case PVD treatment completely refinished with cape cod cloth for gen like matte finish (the finish on this is unreal) T-48 PVD crown CG refinished with tightened lever and torched lever pin (non coated) AR-less sapphire. FGD 203a dial lumed and finished. I have a light tan strap coming for this baby and I can't wait to get it on. Although the current strap is quite nice to. Pics for your enjoyment:D
