That is my favorite watch of all time you have there and it looks awesome on the new strap.

Hi @ll. The dreaded crown/tube stripping issue has claimed another victim and was wondering if any of the members knew where I could source a gen crown and tube? I have seen the new style crown on ebay. Does anyone know if the old style tube will fit? Its the 42mm version. Thanks in advance

Hi @ll, Have not been on RWG actively for a very long time due to work/family/life commitments. Still been hawking around whenever I can and it has been nice to see alot of old faces still around and lots of new faces supporting this wonderfully dark hobby. Hope to be allot more active now I'm a little more settled and getting to know the community again. Be lucky @ll.

As has been allready mentioned most of the big designer lables are made mainly by an Italian company called Safilo and quality is pretty good but not exeptional. The best quality frames i have owned in the past have been Paul Smith, Carier, Tag Heuer and IC Berlin. You cant go wrong with any of these brands and allthough not cheap they wear well and are around the highest quality around. Check out the Tag Heuer L range...some fantastic peices.

I tried the liquid metal on today at an AD and it is gorgeous, the AR is invisable and realy makes the dial pop. The one i tried on did not have a display back and im told its a limited peice of 1948. I will be on this one if they rep it as i nearly dropped over 3k on the gen today, only the thought of the kicking my touble and strife would give me put me off!

Hi @ll, After years of owning datejust reps and being left cold i am finaly in a position to take the plundge and get me a gen, I love the clean lines and understated class..who among us hasnt noticed a DJ hanging on the wrist of someone that could tell you the day he/she got it and what the occasion was? A Rolex for the blue or white collar indeed . Been looking around forever and would like input from our scam site experts on this site..www.hermitagejewelers.com.
