i had the same issue with the seconds pinion, pushed just a little bit to much and it broke, when i questioned my supplier he said many complaints about that over sensitive pinion, the 3804 im working on now starts then stops whenever it wants, this movement is just a pain in the a.. , my first 4 hand build and after making a custom movement ring so it did'nt jump around in the case i thought i was done, but the start and stop is driving me nuts, i replaced the balance [censored] from a parts movement i have and that did'nt solve the problem, anyone else with this problem ?
