  1. With Ubi's return to the scene with Prevendome as his central thematique', I figured: "why not grace RWG with a unique project"? What you are about to visualize is a 6538 BC sparked off when T and I were casually discussing about a possible one-off "Tropical Project" which involved a whole lotta [James Bond 007] association, the 1960s, R.O.L.E.X, heritage, and a distinctive lustre of sun-bursting dial that chameleons according to the intensity of inward / outward sunlight. Without further ago..I will first post this beauty against a black backdrop, with another marine blue to come in a bit. Rushing off to work, 9pm till I come...
  2. I carried a bunch of gens and reps at any time - so I prefer a low-key bag. Domke Reporters Satchel F-802 in Black Canvas (will fit a 15 inch MacBook Pro, iPad, handheld cameras + watches) Lots of compartments all around, very usable for stashing your valuables. The selling point for me the is the hinge that keeps the contents of the bag secure. It will take some strength to unlock it. Very stealth bag and I have gone through 3 of them in the past 7 years. Price is around USD $ 120 Been looking at a more sturdy Canvas with Leather handles, and I came across www.travelteq.com, a Dutch company whose bags are manufactured in Italy. Price are quite pricy at around EUROS 450 and up.... Trash Canvas - EU 595 http://www.travelteq.com/Trash-Canvas Trash Inside Out - EU 495
  3. Indeed, well considering the price of a genuine SM300 vintage is hovering around 2500-3300 usd at the moment, I would say that this would be a good vintage to own. If you can find a gen T-dial, which I have seen at the 12 o'clock position, which was sold on eBay a couple of months back for USD $ 150-200? I was questioning the integrity of the dial as I have not seen those variations before....aftermarket? perhaps....
  4. LOL! Ephry73: Trust me, when it comes to showing off - the images that Ubi, w00f, vlydog, Donerix, they execute a much better job than me. On that note, the reason why I am posting these vintage SM300 is due to the lack of interest in these watches. Take a look at the Trading Zone, it is almost always a catch and release for these vintage SM300 projects. Is no one appreciating these under-rated SM300 these days?
  5. From Yukiwatch, this SM300 features a screw-down crown, creamy superlume, very bright plexiglass, Swiss ETA, T-Military Dial, no lume on bezel, uni-directional bezel Straps: Black Buffalo grain Gunny, Donerix black Cayman, Donerix golden tan Cayman, Canvas Green Nato Enjoying the SM300 for almost a year now, no plans to vintagize. Scratched the plexi a little but this is a beater, so it has been worn. Would love to thicken the T circle, and maybe a slight pops / elevation to the pain on the letterings. Along with my other favourite 5510 big crown sub 3-6-9-12...
  6. what a mirroring image~ great photography, and story line!
  7. Yes W, makes you wanna hit the casino royale tables, and hope to walk out with stacks of dineros...
  8. if i lost my mind....yes
  9. Don't be disappointed mate, like I mentioned before, you have already conquered Everest by taking that leap of faith of executing an explorer's dream. Tomorrow is another chance. Good lord, I just watched the video on CNN. It is a miracle for the 6 survivors....
  10. Not sure about plexis for Tudor Subs but.... For Rolex 1680 Subs, there are 2 distinctive plexis. The newer replacements are the ones with the bevels at the edges. The older harder to find, known as "Tall Hats" are the ones without the bevels. Personally, I prefer Tall Hats on subs ~
  11. Here you go db2.... http://www.hqmilton.com
  12. second that, anyone from San Francisco should drop by Jacek's shop sometime to check it out.. Off topic to Sea-Dwellers: Kicking myself for missing out a 1665 SD with a service case, Swiss T<25 service luminova dial, excellent NOS condition overall for 9.8k usd. Did I mention a NOS 93150 bracelet with 585 end links? Argghhhh! This was at his site for the longest stretch....oh well...can't buy them all Am on a hunt for a 1665 DRSD replacement service dial with a single red Sea-Dweller lettering, SWISS, luminova....would be a unique dial for a project...if you ever see one for sale, grab it!! That's the closest one would ever get to having a SRSD which is rare as rocking horse sh*t.
  13. A great seller and very nice price for a bluey Tudor sub...someone will be very happy. Are you thinking of dropping a bomb on this one vlydog?
