Greetings all,
I have a Yuki 3135 movement in good shape and I'm entertaining the idea of building a watch around it. I'm having trouble finding a source for cases that will explicitly fit a 3135 movement though and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction... In particular I keep seeing that a 3135-style movement will not fit into a case intended for a 2824 or similar ETA movement, which is what most of the stock out there apparently is geared towards.
Apologies if I've missed any readily available information, and I should add that I don't really have any thoughts on what sort of watch I even want to build so I'd be down for anything at this point, I just don't want to order a case and discover that the movement doesn't fit or the stem height is way off. Another thought is that I have a 3D printer and can fabricate a custom spacer so if there's something oversized that could work with additional work of that sort I'd love to learn about it.
Thanks much,
A

@automatico, thank you very much for the detailed summary of the case options out there, it's good to have verification that the problem I was imagining was indeed a problem...
@HorFan, this looks like a solid option at a reasonable price point, thanks very much as I would never have stumbled on this site myself.
