  1. My uncle passed on his entire replica collection, and all the quartz watches need new batteries. On most, I was able to pop the batteries out and then see what I need to buy, but this one have been really tricky to get apart and it's not a standard movement where one can find any info with a search? (Maybe I just don't know the right keywords!!! Lol) I was able to remove a retaining ring, but can't figure out the release for the crown to get the movement out and release the strap around the battery.
  2. I bought some solid, but not great Sub reps from a street vendor on Venice Beach in Southern California back in 1997, but it wasnt until 1999 that I got my first Swiss Movement Omega Seamaster from the Original River that I still wear to this day! I even had the bracelet replaced by an Omega Dealer and they never guessed it wasnt the real deal!!! The bracelet cost almost double what I paid for the watch!
  3. Nevermind! Mary is awesome! She gave me the option of taking one with a blue face or asked for an extra week and she will go out and find a perfect one! I chose to wait for her to find the perfect one. I am impressed yet again!
  4. I am in the process of ordering a couple watches from Mary, which one of them is a Aquaracer that she sent me quality control pics of. Unfortunately I am bothered by the font on the datewheel which doesnt match the font on the day. Its darker and more pronounced. When pulling the trigger to purchase and send her money, the datewheel was a much more accurate font. This is the primary reason I haven't pulled the trigger on a Breitling as well as other brands. Since the datewheel draws my eye to it on every watch I wear or see, it will constantly bug me if the date is not the correct font. Attached is a comparison of the authentic, the one from before purchase and what Mary is offering with the quality control pics. Now I am not sure what to do when a seller is about to send an item and gives you quality control type pics? Can you decline it and ask for another copy?
  5. I had this watch also, got it almost 5 years ago and it was stolen from my home along with 8 other Rolex and Patek. This is the only one that I know of that cannot be replaced, which makes me so sad, since it was my daily wear watch! It was so accurate that I was able to take it to my local Omega dealer and have him service the watch and when the watch clasp broke, they replaced the band for FREE with a new genuine band! I have never been able to match a purchase of this quality again! I second the comment that, why can we not get a rep. as accurate as one made over 5 years ago!?!?!? I thought that the rep industry had improved in this time! LOL! Oh well!!!
