This is only my personal opinion, but I would never buy another vintage piece, especially Rolex knowing that so many parts of changed and so many watches are just put together. I would much rather pay for a high-end vintage rep then pay an exorbitant amount for a vintage piece that ends up turning out to be a Franken.
