Hi all,
Have a few reps with minor issues that need looking at. Hands need to be put back on, etc.
Can anyone recommend a reliable watchmaker who would be willing to work on replicas? Am willing to drive a reasonable distance from London.
Thanks!

Toothpaste is filled with small sand-like particles which could potentially scratch your watch, just be aware of this. I know this because a friend of mine used clean his spectacles with them, and they ruined the coating and the surface of the lenses.
Yeah, I saw that one but it's a 19mm rather than a 20mm and fits the more "vintage" Carreras (CV21xx). I have already sent a message to the seller asking if they have them in 20mm.
The gen racing strap for my Carrera is nearing the end of its useful life, and I'm looking for a replacement. I was thinking of the black/red strap that comes with the Grand Carrera RS2 rep, I'm guessing it will fit on the deployment clasp I already have... does anyone know if this is available separately?
I have the exact same watch in the same colour and really like it. Thinking of putting a brown strap on it, just for a change since most of my watches have a black strap...
I think the same thing happened to my Link Chrono - it seems to be very difficult to get this part. If anyone knows a source, do let me know! Is it not possible to simply glue the crown and stem together?
Obviously I am not running in the same league as you guys, but I am in my late twenties and drive an X-type. Might be a disguised Ford Mondeo but that works just fine for me. 50mpg, lovely to drive, looks great as far as I'm concerned.
