I am looking to buy a link for my Mens TAG SS. I thought I was fitting correctly and I cannot find the extra links that I had kept. LOL, maybe I gained a few Lbs If anyone would like to help, that would be great. I sure hope I am not pissing the Admin off. So I recently got my package of Cape Cod and tried it on my gen. I didnt go too rough on the cleaning becasuse I really wanted to test it 1st. WOW, Johhny Shine indeed. So there is A TON of info on the polishing SS reps and I have read info on polishing the TT rep bracelts. Some say yes, some say no. Anyone have any experience on the polishing of the REP TT bracelets ?? The last thing I want to do it damage the gold that is on the TT bracelet. I know this might be and over done topic but I am hoping that there are a few Vets out there to help. Great post Andrew. We are buyers. They are dealers. Do they take risks yes. Do we take risks, yes…but only when we buy from dealers that don’t have a good reputation. My opinion and from my experience, is that we can buy from whomever we want to. Any site on the internet, go across the border for those of us that live in a city that is close to the Mexico border. Needless to say you get what you pay for if you pay $40.00 for a REP. IMHO, we get the luxury, yes luxury, of having a great source of dealers that have great reputations as far as communication, speed of transaction and a quality product. I think people may take this for granted at times. This is a site for REP’s and there is no way on earth that ANYONE can expect to get a perfect REP. That’s why it’s a REP. Can the quality change as generations move forward….sure. Do we have choices on if we buy REPS or not…sure we do. If one doesn’t like the dealer don’t buy the rep. If one doesn’t like the REP…….DONT BUY ONE AT ALL. It’s as simple as that. My best friend LIVES in Shenzhen. The epicenter of anything and everything that can be “REP” and there is nothing but truth to the claims from Andy regarding the challenges that are occurring with the authorities and bribery. The risks and penalties that makers dealers take in China are far more stiffer than the ones that we may face in some of our countries. Do I still choose to buy from my reputable dealers even though my friend lives in Shenzhen and have them sent here. Ya damn right I do. WHY ??? Because I am confident that the product, the communication will be impeccable. I am not against objective views of REP’s, that’s what makes these kinds of forums so good. Do we all have choices of who and what we buy…..yep. Will there always be people out there to criticize and condemn and do they live in a world that exists within their mind and the town they live in, yup yup. If you are a buyer and don’t like the game……..dont play.

All but some of you are idiots. Did you see me ask anything about any opinion on the watch ?? Did any of you read that I needed 2 cents of your thoughts of the dealer or the watch from the dealer ??? Um, NO. LOL, it amazes me that people read what they want to read. There is a part of the post that says......Question: Question proposes answer. LOL, its not that deep of a post. Bottom line......I bought it, I love it. Thats all that really that matters. I appreciate all of the feedback BUT.... There was no request for the feedback given. LOL.

So I got a “PERFECT” SD from a VERY VERY reputable dealer. I own a GEN blue faced SUB and I gotta tell ya……….. The SD that I was wearing today is AMAZING!!!!! The weight, the accuracy of the engraving on the back. Etc etc. Today at work, I kept looking down at my wrist and said……” I cant believe it’s a REP” I even took it off and let a guy who owns a GEN hold it and check it out and he didn’t say anything but “WOW, nice watch”. I understand that the only “PERFECT” watch is a GEN , so all you funny guys out there need not participate in the needless bantering of…..”The only perfect Rolex is a GEN” DUH CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!!!! I get that there are MANY manufacturers of Rolex Reps. They are about like Starbucks on every corner in the USA. They can range form the $40.00 USD Mexico bought to the ones that cost upwards of $200.00 USD and are triple wrapped gold as on the two tone SUBS. I have 5 different kinds that I have purchased and all of them from the same dealer and they are fantastic. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS AN INSULT TO THE DEALER AT ALL!!!!!! PERIOD!!!! THE DEALER IS AMAZING AND SO ARE HIS WATCHES. So here is my question: Why is it that this SD is made so impeccably well and why can’t all Rolex reps be made to this quality?? I know it seems like a generic question but it popped into my head today while wearing my SD. Once again, we can all understand that there are many manufacturers out there and there are only a select few that make quality REPS. Any one care to chime their 2 cents in?? Let me restate my clarity statement…….. THIS AS AN INSULT TO THE DEALER AT ALL AND MINIMIZING OF ANY OF HIS WATCHES!!!!!! THE DEALER IS AMAZING AND SO ARE ALLLLLLL OF HIS WATCHES. “C-I-A-B-A-T-T-A …. I still consider myself a noob but I will tell you……… I have learned soooooooo much by just reading reviews about watches, dealers, smart buyers and complete JACKASS :bann: buyers. Rule #1- READ READ READ Rule #2-Pick your dealer then pick your watch(s) Rule #3- See rule Rule #1 and Rule #2 There is no possible way you can go wrong by investigating the information that is on this site. The people that I have interacted with, ESPECIALLY KLINK, have been kind, warm and very helpful with the standard noob questions. Note: If you get someone throwing you to the wolves because of a seemingly silly question, don’t take it personally. LOL, we all have been lightly thrown to the wolves at one time or another. My end result……….12-14 watches, (OMG, I have lost count), that are gorgeous and a relationships with dealers that are consistent and reliable. Find the way the elders, they will teach you with their scribes on the wall.
