  1. Shaken not stirred. Aka. Not another Bond Thread!!! (Pic. Heavy) Something i threw together on RWI. I thought I might share it here. What is our fascination with this sociopath, misogynistic, alcoholic, emotionally dysfunctional, sickly charming, ruthless killing machine? He might be all these things but the films and the character exude style, taste and there is a little bit in all of us that wants to escape into the fantasy world in which he resides. One really has to question the effectiveness of a secret agent whose preference for alcohol beverages is known to every bartender in every exotic location throughout the world. Anyway, lets re-visit the much written about Bond Watches. Along with Cars and women this is another area where the character displays great taste and style. However, the only thing he really chooses or seduces is the women, we know that Q (not @QueTip) chooses his cars and watches. So, Q is the man. The great thing for Bond, unlike us, is he gets them all for free. So here we go, some but not all of the 007 watches. Hours of research watching and freeze framing went into this thread lol. Joking of course but now since this watch hobby (addiction) has overcome me I cannot watch a Bond film without my finger hovering over the pause button for those minuscule glimpses of 007 arm candy. Rolex 6538. There has been some debate over the years regarding what Rolex Sean Connery wears and the provenance of it. However due to the advent of DVD and Blue Ray it is now fairly obvious. As @Thrasher is tired telling people the Connery sub is a 6538 big crown, with a silver triangle and a 2 line metres first gilt dial. The strap was generally considered to be an admiralty grey nato. We now know it was a black red and green undersized RAF strap. It was also worn on a Black leather strap in Dr. No. and From Russia with love. The RAF strap appeared in Goldfinger. Again, in Thunderball the 6538 tells the time while the Breitling Top Time tells supplies the Geiger counter. My version is the Helenarou Connery Submariner. It is a work of art in my biased opinion. Rolex 5513 An early appearance of the 5513 is displayed by George Lazenby in “On her Majesty’s secret service”. It was made more prominently worn by Roger Moore in “Live and Let Die” and “Diamonds are forever”. It had the buzzsaw bezel in “Live and Let Die” and a handy magnet for disrobing young ladies. Apart from the quirky bezel it has a feet first 2 line dial. The weird thing is when I was searching for images the photos of my watch and rivet bracelets are all over the internet lol so here it is my @JohnnyLazar built “Live and Let Die”.
  2. Hi, omega 338usd from HKF factory any feedback for my first rep thanks
  3. Has anyone seen the new Omega Seamaster 300M Aston Martin Edition
  4. Hello Guys, I am planning to buy a watch case set with Dial and Hands. All I can filter on two top suppliers -> Raffle Dials and Bosshua 007 Please share your experience with either of these dealers? how precise they are with the quality
  5. I've been gone for a loooong time and I'm just returning. I've been buying a few gens, but now I have my eye on a rep! Please forgive if I foolishly stumble over some newbie forum rules... I'd like to buy the Omega Seamaster Diver 300 M 007 version 3. I just chose the dealers I remember. Do you have anything to say about these 3 dealers? Do any of them reliably pre-service the movements? I am exhausted of reps only lasting a year or two. How 1:1 is this V3 anyway? Are there obvious flaws? I hear the bracelet is the biggest problem because it's not titanium and the weave pattern is obviously off. Although the case is titanium. https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/omega-replicas/8397354-new-titanium-titanium-seamaster-007-edition/page318 As a result, it is inevitable a V4 will be released with a titanium bracelet to match the titanium case. Does anyone know how long it might take before we can expect a V4? They appear to all be the same V3 of the watch. https://puretimewatch.io/seamster-300-no-time-to-die-limited-edition-vsf-1-1-best-edition-on-ss-mesh-bracelet-a8806-free-nato-v3.html https://trustytime.asia/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_83&products_id=21222 http://www.trb88.club/index.php?route=product/product&path=37_128_129&product_id=3509 Thanks for your time!
  6. Hey Guys Dying to get my hands on a Railmaster Trilogy edition.... Do you know if anyone is making these? New from a factory is cool or even someone that could build me one is cool as well. I'm usually found int he Rolex forums. Thanks for your help or advice. Cheeers JS
  7. Hello chaps, just purchased a new omega Seamaster professional 300m in black. I love the watch but the bezel insert is sheeed. I purchase from Ofrei all the time but it looks like they don't have the bezel assembly and insert in stock. Does anyone have any ideas? I have asked around but it looks like Omega are clamping down pretty hard on spares. Thanks
  8. Hey I couldnt find any recent posts regarding Planet Ocean replicas, so I decided to start a new one. I was looking for PO replica for a long time, and noticed a few strange things. Here are three replicas that I liked most (puretime) 1. https://puretime03.com/planet-ocean-professional-titanium-v6f-11-best-edition-45mm-on-titanium-bracelet-a8500.html 2. https://puretime03.com/planet-ocean-42mm-ultimate-edition-blackwhite-on-ss-bracelet-eta2836.html# 3. https://puretime03.com/planet-ocean-professional-ceramic-bezel-42mm-on-ss-bracelet-a2836.html I'm completely confused with those models. There are so many of them. I had a gen same as number 2, but pearl was exactly as number 1. What's more, the number 2 is different from the one on omega site (https://www.omegawatches.com/watches/seamaster/planet-ocean-600m/omega-co-axial-435-mm/21530442103001/) is it some older model? I really like number 1, for its color and that pearl which reminds me of gen, but is it good enough? Sorry for any mistakes, I'm not very good at omegas.
  9. Hey guys, I'm looking for my gf's first nice watch, we went to a dealer and she tried on the PO, but sadly the 42mm was a bit too big for her. The old 38mm was way to small, but they had a 40mm PO which was perfect. I looked around a bit and didn't find a 40mm PO Rep, is it a new size which has not been made yet? And what are other suggestions for a good 40mm(or 39-41) rep for a girl. What did you buy your wives and gfs? I know the Explorer I or Milgauss would be great but she is not keen on wearing something with a crown. P.S: Laste time I checked a few years ago there were no good Speedmaster Reps out there, has this changed?
  10. Hello all! I'm nervous and excited so I thought I would share haha. Just purchased an Omega '57 replica from Andrew at TrustyTime. I'm been addicted to this watch for quite some time, and I think it's just a beautiful watch that Omega created. For all of those that lurk in the background like me, I'll keep the thread updated with how the process goes. Here's the rep that I purchased... http://www.ttw-1388.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_81&products_id=17683 Hopefully it's a good one.
  11. Replica Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 3577.50.00 Bought from http://www.ukswisswatches.org.uk/ watch arrived today , they don't answer emails , the chronograph doesn't work , the movement is a cheap automatic it has hacking and manual wind but not the manual version as advertised . The wording is incorrect on the dial , the back plate is also wrong for this model . I bought it for sizing purposes 42mm . With these issues , I want to warn future buyers to avoid this website . The watch cost £103 with free delivery .
  12. So I've received my Ti CrPO yesterday and I was happy as f... well I was very happy. I've worn it for day and in the evening when I winded I noticed a lot of micro scratches on the crystal, like the scratches on the screen of a smartphone after you wear it in your pocket with your keys for several months. I didn't hit or scratch the watch and the only thing that touched the crystal was the cloth I use to clean my glasses. These scratches are seen only in direct light, so not much of a deal, but still not a pleasant thing. So the question is: Did I receive a watch with a initially scratched crystal (since it can't be seen in the QC pics) ? P.s: I mean it's a Sapphire Crystal, isn't it meant to be scratch resistant? or are these scratches a normal thing ? The scratches are the small lines near the light reflection (no, they can't be wiped out).
  13. Hi Guys, I would like to buy my first Omega rep. After a lot of research (thanks to this forum) I found two models that might be interesting. http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_66&products_id=10948 and http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=10442 I like the blue stuff as you can see and i'm looking for the closest version to gen. What would you do?
  14. Hi all, Fascinated with this forum. It seems to be packed with replica watch experts and the details and info is incredible. I'm pretty new to replica watch collecting, but I would love to get this particular watch. An omega planet ocean GMT. Could someone please tell me where I could get a very good model of it, how much roughly it should cost and what exactly (other than the price) is the difference between it and the original. If you're a seller, would you please show me images of the actual watch I will receive, can I pay by paypal and how much it'll be to send to Ireland. I know they're all novice questions, I did have a quick search of the site but no one really covered it to the extent I want. This is the exact watch I would like, I don't know the model number other than "planet ocean gmt" Thank you James
  15. Hi, I'm looking for an Omega Seamaster 300M Black, the best clone available. I have contacted a number of sellers regarding this watch and it seems only BP make this. Does anyone know if the new replicas of this watch are any good because i know they varied in quality in the past, especially with the bezel alignment and back case. Anyone bought one recently have any comments on this and which seller did you use? Thanks
  16. I've recently fell in love with the Omega planet ocean chronograph, but sadly the genuine is way beyond the size of my wallet. I've lost the last 3 days searching for a perfect replica, but it seems like there isn't such a thing, it's either a faux chronograph or the lume is garbage or the dials have the wrong size. Maybe my searching skills are poor or I missed something, but does anyone own or have ever met a perfect replica to this watch, with fully working chronograph and which looks like the genuine one? I've also read that the 7750 movement will fail if I use the chronograph option often... well is like 20 times a week often or where is the edge between often and not often for this movement ? In case those are some noob questions, I'm sorry, but I'm still a noob and thanks in advance for help.
  17. I really need help. I am going to buy an omega 42m Planet ocean and Would like to ask two things Movement;Asian 2836 automatic or Japanese MIYOTA 8215 is better? Production; Noob or V6F? http://puretime02.com/special-offers/planet-ocean-professional-ceramicorange-bezel-42mm-11-noob-best-edition-on-ss-bracelet-a2836.html http://puretime02.com/planet-ocean-professional-ceramic-bezel-orange-markers-42mm-v6f-1-1-best-edition-on-black-rubber-strap-a8500.html# Thank you in advance
  18. Hi all, I can't figure out where in this forum you're meant to source a watch so I just thought I'd ask. Has anyone got this Omega GMT or can you tell me know someone who has it please, how much I should pay or what the difference between asian movement is? I'm a total newby, please help me out Thank you, James
  19. Hi there fellow collectors and watch lovers! Thank you for the chance to be a part of this great community!!! Collecting vintage watches and reps since ever. So I really remember the times when I bought my first reps in the 90s ... oh my, compared to todays great pieces I can say, they really changed a LOT for the better :-) My favourite brands are AP, PP & Rolex Especially vintage style reps and modded reps with a special creative touch I like a lot. Hope to get more inspiration, ideas and knowlege here in future to work more on my planned rep mod projects. (hope to have also enough time off my job for that ....:-) Have a great time! Elias
  20. I have two Omega's and two Rolexes. I've inherited them from my father who passed away eight years ago. As I've lost my job I won't be able to cover next months rent and will be forced to sell one watch. Need to know what they're worth in £? Both are Seamasters and one is from 50s or 60s I believe. Blue Seamaster Automatic: Crown doesn't move/turn The seconds dial works only for 30min after shaking Has my fathers whole name engraved on the back Strap in great shape Cream Seamaster: Crown works, sets time and winds Once wound-up the watch works for 30min only Not sure if the strap is original Has small dots on the watch face which appear to be part of the design since they are perfectly contained within its inner circle Says Waterproof on the back Has a scratch between the 1am/pm and 2am/pm positions
  21. Hey fellas just received my Noob LMPO and I'm in awe! This is hands down the best Omega rep I have seen in my plus 20 years in the rep game!It surpasses BP CrPO in fit, finish, weight, AR, crown tube assembly, bezel, insert, dial, pear placement, etc and is on point with the gen. I'm very impressed at what noob has done despite the initial batch with the poor dials. The only cons I would say is sizing the band is a bear! The pins are super tight and I recommend taking it to a professional jeweler unless you have an hour or two to spare, patience, and a very good watch repair kit. Also the divers extension could be tighter and does come loose occasionally. Overall this watch is a go and the best Omega rep out there to date! I opted for the Asian ETA although Swiss is available as well from Puretime. Highly recommend pick one up. Enjoy to the max!
  22. Gentlemen I really enjoy the Planet Ocean rep's but I find the Cal,8500 to be lacking just a couple of things (Puretime used as example) Blued screws and a black balance wheel, and a better balance bridge. Does anyone have any experience modding these? Are the parts available? I think it would really take the watch to the next level. Or...conversely, is there a better version of the rep movement?
  23. SPECTRE premieres in the UK tomorrow October 26th and November 6th here in the USA, I thought it might be fun to post up which watch you wore to the premiere Omega? Rolex? or other? A sort of "Which watch.." with a twist (shaken, not stirred).
  24. A little bit of whimsy mixed with an equal part of history yields the 2015 Omega Speedmaster Apollo 13 Silver Snoopy Award Limited Edition. This model is quartz and wears a little larger than the 43.5mm of the Gen, but it is all about the smiles it generates both from the wearer and those that take the time to notice... sadly the weakest part is the lume, I was hoping for a much brighter snoopy.
