  1. Everybody is saying don't buy Breitling TransOcean Chronograph, but I'm not sure why? I was looking this one, and I love the way it looks: http://www.timeshops.net/11701-br0190fo-breitling-transocean-1884-white-dial-ss-lt-asian-7750-28800bph.html I know that datewheel isn't working and Asia Valjoux 7750 isn't best movement out there, but is there something more? I only have one replica and few gen watches, so okey I'm newbie (honestly), but I really appreciate all of your replies. Thank you.
  2. These two are recent additions... I have been wanting an 806 since I was a kid. The dream has finally come true! The 806 is from '67 or so. I have a NOS lizard strap with 16mm 'double Breitling planes logo' buckle as well as the NOS Breitling buffalo grain strap in the pics. The 816 Navitimer is from '68 and has its original NOS Tropic strap from the factory. It also has the double Breitling planes logo' buckle as well. The case is the same case as the Chrono-Matic 1806/1809 series. It is large but quite thin and lightweight; consequently, very comfortable to wear. I almost bought an 1806 but I can't really can't get into Caliber 11 or 12 movements. They are boring in my book. Hence the reason why I have a love/hate relationship with the Heuer Autavia. The 816 has dial action with its running seconds. I like to know if my watches are alive or not ;-) Anyhow, I was going through all of my watches today, and I took a lotta pics. Just thought I'd share some vintage action on an otherwise 'newer' style forum section. PS. Excuse the Rolex pic in the Breitling forum
  3. Got my hands on a used SOH v2 Black after a lot of looking and PMing people. Some pictures with my iPhone. Love the Breitling Superocean Heritage , very nice watch free image hosting Thanks for looking
  4. Ive looked through alot of your trusted dealers sites, (Joshua, Siliax, asian etc.) and obviously there are always prices diff for automatic, japanese/swiss. But some seem to say they have the same features and are diff prices by hundreds or just 50 bucks! Has anyone tried watchreplica, org? Cheers in advance
  5. Hey Guys - I joined this forum and bought a watch the first day, it arrived today and now I am hoping to get a little help. I swear i did a ton of different searches before creating a new topic because I couldn't really find what i needed. I am trying to get the watch going, I managed to get the watch moving (mostly from me just manual rotating the watch) I tried following videos on how to wind it but I just don't think I am doing it right. I know the movement is 7750. I am definitely a n00b but hopefully some of you where at one time too My other questions other then how to wind it properly, is the other hands on the watch. The second dial is moving smooth as it should but the 24 hour dial is still set right on 12. I think maybe this is because I don't know how to set it properly. Now for prolly the biggest noob question... I know if i press the top side button the timer starts and that works, but what is the other have with the big red arrow on it and what does that do? Thanks for not being too mean! edit: I forgot to mention, the watch LOOKS AMAZING!
  6. I have been a Replica collector for a number of years, but never got into the forum & discussion part of it. Lived out of the country (USA) for almost 20 years and always bought directly from sellers. It was nice to hold it in your hand and look at it before actually putting down the cash. I relocated back to the USA almost a year ago and have gone through replica withdrawls lately and started to do a little browsing and surfing. I may have to actually step out and make a purchase online. I personally like Omegas, Panerias, Breitlings and a few Tags. Have a few others and have even given a few to friends. Here is a few pictures of my collection. Not all were present at the time of the picture. I just might have an addiction! Is the an AA for replica watch collectors? The pictures are'nt the highest of quality or clearest but you get the idea. I tried to get better ones, but the lighting was messing with me
  7. well, to be honest im an omega man through and through-i have a franken planet ocean 45, a 42 PO, smp chrono, 2254.50 and a gen 2541.80 and 2531.80...but i've had an itch lately for something different. not too different though-it had to be a dive watch! so it was a toss up between a rolex dssd or a breitling superocean. being the type of person who for some reasons likes brightly coloured watches the new breitling superocean in yellow won straight on the laptop i went and a week later here she is-my first breitling purchase and to be honest i couldnt be happier, its a cool watch despite what the haters say! one thing bugged me though and that was the comfiness of the rubber strap, its bloody good looking strap mind, but i just couldnt get it to wear right. hmmm, after a rummage in my straps box i decided to give this mesh a try and im glad i did. i think it gives the watch a hardcore look while still keeping the overall image-and it wears perfect which i great! anyway hope you all like, i for one am a happy bunny.
  8. I have a relatively small wrist (6.5 inches), and although I heard many people say it's great since it gives the body nicer proportions and makes your arms look bigger, it's definitely not helping with my selection of diving watches. I saw a nice Genuine Breitling Avenger Skyland (45mm) on eBay the other day, but if it's gonna look bulky then I guess I'll just pass on it. I need your opinion folks before taking hasty decisions. What's the best Breitling (Preferably a Chronograph) to match a small wrist? Two opinions are always better than one. NB: I own a Rolex Sea Dweller, it's 43mm according to Rolex, and it looks nice on my wrist. Thank you
