  1. I'm having trouble with one of the lug end pieces on my Radomir. Went to change the strap. When I tried fitting the new strap, one of the lug pieces (the L shaped thing) will not stay in the hole. The screw does not seem to grab the notch. Anyone had this problem? Any idea how to fix it? Watch guy says crazy glue or other glue wont hold. Thanks.
  2. Hi Guys, I am fairly new to the forum, but ya'll have inspired me to build a franken PAM 104. I've started with an H-factory 1:1 104 rep with the A7750 movement. So far, I've purchased: - gen alligator strap - gen deployment buckle - gen dial So, I have two questions I was hoping someone might be so kind to help me with: 1) Who should I use state-side to help me with service and assembly? 2) Should I put in a Swiss ETA 7750 movement? And if so, do I go with the 17 or 25 jewels? Thanks in advance for the advice!
  3. I learned that this master of Thailand does homage. He sent me a photo and offers to buy his watch. I previously did not know about it. first name: Siwa surname: phalasin Payout City: BANGKOK Payout country: THAILAND t-mail: dr.cocaine1@hotmail.com When you come across something with it? We need your feedback.
  4. Hi Pam Freinds and pros on Pam reps. Can anyone help me identify this PAM ? i bought it from a friend. Model, Movment and Version of the watch? Is it a good replica. Is there any better replicas of this watch now? I am thankful for answers All the best
  5. Hi guys, still a newbie in this forum. I cant seem to find anything about the PAM366 M "Fu" edition on this forum. Im thinking of getting it from Puretime, the price seems cheaper than the rest of the pams. Any suggestions or advice? Is it close to the gen? Thank you. I cant post a link to the product as i've stil got less than 5 posts, but if anyone is wondering it is the PAM 366M FU edition on Puretime.co (pam366-m-fu-11-noob-best-edition-on-black-leather-strap)
  6. Hey guys. I am contemplating buying a Pam251 Daylight white dial. Toro has it listed for $248 Kuvarsit has it listed for $488. Both have the a7753 movement. Whats the difference between the 2 that warrants over $200 increase?? Toro has is listed as Pam251k Kuvarsit as Pam251. Here are the links for the 2. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! http://www.kuvarsit.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30056 http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35_62&product_id=734
  7. Friends and Experts I am pretty new to the REP market...just got my second rep from TT and awaiting the watch. First being - PAM 332 Limited edition expendables watch(a definite super-rep) and now waiting the Brietling Skyland Avenger Black Chrono(a very good rep). Just wanted to know which are the SUPER REPS available in the market today? Can someone please guide. Brand doesnt matter I know there are some very good Subs and some Pams around as a super rep. Anything else in Rolex, Brietling, Tag etc?
  8. So I've been looking for a Pvd rep for a while and nothing has caught my eye until today, I'm not a major Pam fan but I just clicked onto Puretime and spotted this 389 Pvd and now I'm in love http://www.puretime.co/product/pam389-n-luminor-submersible-1950-amagnetic-pvd-on-black-rubber-strap-25j/ I am just wondering if there is any other Pam available similar to this one but maybe a bit smaller, I know I know, but being used to wearing Rolex nearly all the time 47mm takes some getting used to! I have an 029 which I love but don't wear that often because its a bit dressy in my eyes but the 389 looks spot on as a daily wearer, and it fits a hole in my collection too as always any help appreciated guys, Cheers
  9. Hey all, Looking for a PAM 253 Regatta Flyback Chrono. Any suggestions on who has the best version out there? I found one on trustytime: PN253V1 (sorry, i can't post links yet) that looks good. Any thoughts on this? I'm new to the Panerai world. I recently bought a PAM 91 from perfectwatches and was very disappointed. Is there anything I should be looking for when it comes to this watch? Any input would help. Thanks in advance.
  10. What's the best out of the box rep (Very good rep) for a 42mm Panerai? Do you know where I can get one and what version? Thanks for the help guys!
  11. Hi all, I just want to share my experience with purchasing my Pam127 from Torobravo and my general impression of this watch. First, my ordering experience with Torobravo. 1. Paid on 6/21 and was put on the waiting list 2. Received and approved QC pics on 7/14 3. "Toy watch" arrived at my office on 7/18 afternoon I waited for about 3 week and got the watch in 5 days from China to LA. Torobravo's communication was prompt and to the point. Here are the "Clift Notes" about me: I am a newbie with respect to this hobby. I joined RWG March 2012 and prior to the Pam127 I have purchased so far: 1. Pam380 2. Omega 45 UPO - Orange bezel 3. Franck Muller Casablanca - Brown dial All 3 from Trusty. Btw- He's is a great dealer as most who have dealt with him already know. Although each of my first 3 watches had its own slight imperfections, I was very happy and enjoyed them immensely. However, when I saw the Pam127 first hand, I was totally surprised by its quality and beauty. To be frank, I didn't quite understand the fuss this watch was getting since the pictures I saw didn't really inspire me one way or the other. I am slightly embrassed to say I just got it due to all the rave reviews. After wearing it for close to two days, I am still amazed by the level of quality and attention to detail on this watch. I realize this is the honeymoon period, but I got to say I am totally smitten by this watch...This watch have gotten me so giddy and silly my wife has wondered what's gotten into me. (Giddy is not normally an acceptable behavior for a 43-year old man). One last observation is that this watch has removed all urges to acquire more watches, at least temporarily. Anyways, I like to thank the RWG community for sharing their knowledge to someone who previously have never bought a watch. This may sound like hyperbole, but this 400 dollar "Toy" has made me just as happy as when I got my Porsche. Here is the obligatory photo of the watch (one of the QC pics). I've never taken a wristshot before so I will spare the community my poor camera skills....for now... Thank you for reading this and have a great day, PaneraiFan315
  12. Has anyone tried fitting a stainless steel band (or ever thought of for that matter) on those wide 26mm lugs?
  13. My twenty-seventh reps and my third Panerai is on my wrist. The service offered by Joshua was impeccable, as always. Each word can not describe the quality of this rep, in person is absolutely beautiful so I leave you browse my pics. Thanks again to the forum and to Joshua for his outstanding service! 15. I recently purchased a Panarai Luminor Base (PN219MRU - Pam 219 M /Lefty > SS/RU Black Asian 6497) from Trusty Time (http://www.yourtrustytime.com). It was the first time that I bought a Pam replica and I was quite skeptical with regard to the quality of the watch. However, my skepticism was unfounded. The watch is an absolute beauty and it looks just like an original Pam Luminor Base. I really could not tell any difference. This is also true with regard to the weight of the watch. It is very well and solidly crafted. The watch seems to run very precisely. So far I have not realized noteworthy deviations (Andrew wrote me that the watch may deviate +/-10 sec. per day). The delivery process went very well. Andrew replied promptly to inquiries and he mailed the watch quickly after payment in a small styrofoam- box. I choose delivery via UK which costs 20 EUR extra but is more secure than direct delivery. All things considered, it was a very pleasant experience to do business with Trusty Time. And I can really recommend the PN219MRU. Cheers
