  1. Dear friends, in the spirit of sharing, I thought I’d let everyone know of a fantastic experience that I’ve had recently with www.watchworx.co.uk a UK based supplier of decent quality straps, bracelets and accessories at really competitive prices. It all started when I decided to stick a leather strap on my Omega (for a bit of fun and to breathe a bit of new life into an old timer!). I started looking around (at Hirsch etc) and after much deliberation I then came across www.watchworx.co.uk. Out of curiosity as much as anything else, I stuck in an order for http://tinyurl.com/8fd4xkd (in blue) and three days (and just £14.00 GBP) later it arrived. I was literally blown away. In short, what would have cost me £50.00 (Hirsch) cost a fraction of the price, and the quality is comparable. I was so impressed, I place another order. This time I opted for a 22mm (again to reinvigorate an old beater). My second order was for http://tinyurl.com/9xz7yqc unfortunately, unlike the first time, a week went by and I hadn’t received my strap. So, I contacted the seller and explained the situation. Without fuss, the next day, a replacement was received by me (and the strap is just as good as the first I ordered). All in all, a great service, quality products and nice people to deal with. Highly recommended. Pics are of my watches with their new straps (on!) both from www.watchworx.co.uk Enjoy and stay well everyone. rclough
  2. This has been a long time coming. After some learning curve with what I like one of our strapmakers had opened up his creativity to making something interesting for me for my watches. Since currently I do not have my Mini-Egi I had to use my 390 for this quick shoot. He made for me 6 straps over the past 8 months which I've really enjoyed. To thank him I wanted to do a few shots with his Nepalese Yak also known as his "Sherpa" series. This leather is medium so far as flexibility goes but it is so highly waterproof! His careful and creative stitchwork on here I really like. I gave him the instructions of "go for it!" so here you have it I'm really enjoying it and can't wait to fit it upon my mini-egi when she returns. Please enjoy:
  3. The mailman arrived this morning with 2 custom straps from Steveo for my PAM111N. Very nicely packaged with a Quality assurance tag. There's really no need to state there, but it's a very nice gesture from him. Make me feel confident with his product. And inside revealed a nicely wrap up straps! And yes, both strap I ordered are wrapped individually! I custom made this 2 pair of straps and it's cater to my wrist size. These are made with the following request. (Many might find it troublesome) :shh: Wrist size 7 inches 4 holes I'm going to use the 2nd hole only Must be thick 4mm and above. Thread have to be thick and waxed. So with those ridiculous request, Steveo answered my request nicely and agreed to help me with those. So the first strap I customized is a simple Black strap with waxed thread. 24/24mm And the next strap I throw him a photo I got from the net and ask him to make one similar. However I don't have the photo with me now. And it look similar to the one but better. 24/22mm Group photo After I took the photos, I mount my buckles onto the straps immediately! Black strap with PVD Pig buckle (I know many people would say that PVD buckle is nice only on PVD watch head, but hater gonna hate!) I love it. I'm extremely pleased that the strap and the PVD buckle goes so well together! And next is my 24/22mm strap! So I mount my rep Panerai buckle onto them! Very nice!!!! I like the outcome of this too! So with the buckles up, I took off my rubber strap from my PAM111N and mount the strap on! PAM111N with Black strap and PVD Pig Buckle and next PAM111N with brown strap and Panerai buckle So now are some of the wrist shots I took!!! Start with the Black strap And the brown strap Finally, All in all, I've a terrific and great time working with Steveo. His service is top notch and communication with him is great! No forgetting the very reasonable price of the custom strap. Everything plus shipping is only 39.50usd. And the short waiting time and fast shipment is another plus point! I will definitely return and get more custom strap from him! Strongly recommended! The strap maker, Steveo, website is www.steveostraps.com
  4. Good day fine Gentlemen! I am looking to find a strap for a pam 111. I have my eyes set on a Noob from Josh. But as i have the wrist of a 3 yr. old (6 Inch )... i would need a strap to be short as hell. I have been searching like mad but have not been able to find anything for under $150 Here comes the fine print: Preferably maroon or cognac in color with white stitching. calf/buffalo SHORT ( 110/65 ) As i am a alone father "money´s to tight to mention" so cheap is not the word i would use, but fair priced is more to my liking Therefore i ask you fellow watch-afficianados, am i on a lost quest or can it be done? Cheers from the cold Denmark.
  5. Anyone know where I can pick up a nice black suede strap with black stitching for my PAM 177 at a reasonable price? Thanks!
  6. Here is my new strap from ThewatchBoys.com for my new Pam 187G. Vintage Dark Brown 26/26 with PreV buckle and Tan Stiches. I love it!!
  7. Hi all, I'm looking for a good value rep black leather / croc strap and deployant clasp for my Monaco. Failing a decent rep, an unbranded one would do - 20mm size. Any pointers really appreciated. Paul
  8. I have an old generation MBW 1665 great white SD (pics coming on the weekend), but I don't have the bracelet for it. Should I seek out a bracelet for it and some 585 end links? Or should I get a tropic strap and maybe a Rolex buckle? I have never handled a tropic strap before so I don't know anything about its longevity or quality. I have never seen one on a SD though, so I take it they were only ever really put on subs (I don't mind being the first though). I'm thinking a nato is out of the question, because the watch is already so thick. I wouldn't know where to get a decent bracelet for it though, if I went that route. Any ideas? Thanks!!
