Here is a modified 16000 case to do a 1016 build. This case was in great original condition, so I did not touch the bezel or the caseback as recreating these perfectly flat surfaces is impossible with my gear.... So the work was on the midcase here: relocation of the lugholes, modification of the lugs shape, reshaping of the case into a tonneau shape on the crown side and careful erasing of the ref number only to leave place for a nice 1016 engraving under the original Registered Design. I am looking forward to see this watch completed !

Hi all, I wanted to share what can be done based on the ol'cartel cases retailed by JMB. They are truly the perfect candidate to make a first series Explorer 1 case. All 3 elements have been re-engine turned here : caseback, mid case and bezel. Inside runs a ETA, held by a custom made brass holder for a perfect mount ! Cheers !!!!

Hi Folks, Have a look at this one and tell me what's wrong with it. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=341791 Lug engraving is screaming fake, all E have 3 identical length. I've read and read and read that never E were engraved with the same lengh. Can you advise? Thanks
