Hello RWG, I'm a sporadic lurker, infrequent poster, multiple-time buyer on RWG. I'm hoping for the community's input on a question. I've become enamored of the new Cartier Drive and am going to pick up a rep. The only TDs who have them, I think, are trustytime and Angus at puretime. Trustytime's movement is listed as Asian 21J Automatic Movement and is offered at $138. Link to his page is http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_448&products_id=15217. Angus's movement is listed as Asian 23J Automatic Movement and is offered at $218. Link to his page is http://puretime01.com/drive-de-cartier-ss-white-textured-dial-on-black-leather-strap-a23j.html. All the other specs look the same to me, although more astute members may tell me differently after looking at the pages. I have heard it said that many of the Asian 21J movements are in fact the exact same as the 23J movements. I don't know how true that is? Please tell me: is there any reason I should think about paying $80 more with Angus? Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody, I would like to share with you my last (very bad) experience with PureTime. I have ordered the 3rd of December 2017 a Navitimer 01 (https://puretime05.com/navitimer-01-11-ss-black-dial-on-black-leather-strap-a7750.html) after having received the confirmation that the watch was in stock and ready for shipping. But after 3-4 days after payment, I was surprised for not having been contacted by the Team regarding the QC Pictures. After an exchange of email , PureTime announced me that the watch was out of stock and that I have to wait for 2-3 weeks more. We are today the 26th of January 2018 and the watch is still out of stock and they ask me now to order another model... Do not hesitate to share this experience and to avoid that other guys ordering this model which seems to be not manufactured anymore!!! Regards, Tatozor

Hey there! I am new to this community and excited as I have started collecting watches recently. I have done a lot of research on using puretime03 and I want to order a Rolex Explorer from them but I had a few questions. First I apologize if I’m posting this in The wrong place or asking questions that I’ve already been answered. I went though the process of checking out and wanted to use WU Pay but I’m not sure how to do that. I also am considering getting a prepaid card and just using that. Is the quality that great? Is it pretty close to the real deal? Also, is it safe to order from them? Im in the USA and would like to avoid doing anything that could get me in trouble. Does anyone have any suggestions on better places to order from? Any tips or comments on my first buying experience would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you and I’m excited to be here! I ordered a Tag Rep from Puretime. It came and the packaging was undamaged. The crown and pushers just fell out while I was putting on the watch for the first time. They will "repair' it for 100 dollars in shipping! So that's $350 down the toilet. Chen doesn't even care. No attempt at service or making it right. This guy is a theift and you should avoid Pure Time at all costs. There are better dealers that will follow up and make sure you are a happy customer. They will do you right or make sure things get fixed. Chen is not one of them. Stay Away. You WILL get ripped off and you WILL regret it.

Just received my first Panerai from Angus at Puretime today - a PAM 337 42mm. I have been wanting a Radiomir for ages but unfortunately they are just too big for my wrist. When I found out that Puretime were doing a 42mm rep I was right on it. I am so disappointed with the watch. The case, crown and strap are very good quality but the dial is appalling. The "RADIOMIR / PANERAI" logo is not centred correctly and the whole watch mechanism must be mounted incorrectly in the case as the dial is about 2.5 degrees off centre. I have heard that Puretime are such a good dealer because of the attention to details and quality of their reps. So frustrating when the makers of these watches have done such an amazing job with 95% of a watch then drop the attention to detail in the most obvious of areas. I have contacted Puretime and hope that they will be able to replace it with a better one from their stock. Fingers crossed!

For some time I've had my eye on the Safari and think I'm about to move on one. I noticed pure-time released a new line of Noob Royal Oak's on bracelets last week. This is a great addition because I think very few people do anything with the fake croc straps except throw them in a box and leave them there. Can anyone chime in if this is a new version of the 42mm Noob or if it is just a re-release on steel. I've done my due diligence and think i'm going to go with the Noob over the JF and pic up an APBands strap. I've tried the gen on a few times and have noticed differences and imperfections between gens which is strange but seems somewhat common among AP watches. This should make for a nice little fanken project. If this is different than the older Noob, does the forum have an opinion??? Thanks, here are the pictures from puretime. PS: Can anyone chime in if this is the current bracelet dealers are selling that will fit the new AP Divers? Hello, I'm planning on buying my first rep, and I found that I really like the PAM312. I found two reps from different sites and I'm really unsure of which one is more reliable. The first one is from pure-time: PAM312 L Best Edition: pure-time.com/product/pam312-l-best-edition/ And the second is from the Kuvarsit website, which I saw mentioned in another thread: 1:1 PAM 312 O SERIES.V2 VERSION KW BEST VERSION..!!! SEAGULL ST2: kuvarsit.me/11-pam-312-o-seriesv2-version-kw-best-version-seagull-st2-p-2241.html The one from pure-time worries me because: It was modeled after a PAM329 apparently I have heard very mixed opinions on the 7750 movement The one from Kuvarsit worries me because: I haven't heard much about the website, can it be trusted? In the description of functions, it says Hours and Date, does that mean the subseconds hand doesn't work? I'm also a little concerned about the movement. My highest priority is getting a reliable watch that is functional. From the pictures, both watches look enough like the gen that I'm not too worried about accuracy of design, unless there's something really obvious that I'm missing. Can anyone recommend to me which one is more reliable and trustworthy? Also, just out of curiosity, can these movements be wound by turning the crown? Thanks a lot!

Hello RWG! First time poster and replica watch buyer (other than a $5 cheapo rolex daytona I bought off the streets on vacation in beijing) I was wondering if there was a list of TDs (trusted dealers) compiled anywhere on the site. I tried to look but I was not able to find one. I am looking for a rose gold rolex sky dweller like this one: puretime asia.com/product/sky-dweller 326935 rg rose gold dial on rg bracelet a21j (replace the spaces with hyphens, I cant post links yet) I know puretime-asia is a TD, but I thought I would like to look elsewhere, maybe for a better price or a slightly different look. Thanks for any help you can offer! I am a little nervous getting my first replica and afraid of a scam. (side question: I know most replicas come from China. Delivering to the United States, how frequently is customs an issue? It is only 1 watch I am ordering, so I presume the chances of customs checking a very small package like that is very slim. I would like the delivery of my watch to be as foolproof as possible, with the understanding that the replica watch market as a whole is often sketchy.)

So I understand there are rumors about a better version of the 15400 Royal Oak that fixes the polished rehaut issue and perhaps a better rotor on a Miyota movement that Angus is involved with. Is this new version suppose to be out soon? IMHO, Im happy with the current version and possibly pulling the trigger and modding the rehaut myself. Are there that many issues with the current version that the wait for the new version is worth it? Cheers in advance for any input.

pureti.me is dead. You can use this one for now http://puretime-asia.com/ but apparently you can't use credit cards via that site. New site coming shortly. I'll update my TD tool with the new site when it's known. (a new version is in the wings that gets it's data live from a server so that old outdated versions with outdated info in them won't be floating around) Thanks to aseangm (RWg shoutbox) and Hyjynx (RWG.bz) for the info. -

Hi all, After getting my 42mm cheapie pumpkin I've fallen in love with it and decided to get a decent version of it's 45mm bigger brother. Having a look around I see that there seem to be two versions. One version has small square lume markers at 12/3/6/9, "Seamaster" is in red (orange) writing and the hour and minute hands are fatter (and uglier). The other version has semi-triangular lume markers at 12/3/6/8, "Seamaster" is in white, and the hour and minute hands are slimmer and better proportioned. So I had a look at pictures of gens and they match the second one (semi-triangular markers). But the first one (seems to be the ceramic version) seems to be the "latest" model? Are they both correct and copying slightly different versions of gen Omega POs? I must say that the fat, ugly hands just scream "cheap" to me, as do the "not quite right" square markers, so either way I'm going with the second version Puretime has it for $238 with an Asian 2824, or $388 with a Selita SW200. Andrew has it for $318 with an ETA 2824-2, everything else seems to be identical. Does the Selita movement come assembled in a proper factory? I.e. it will not need sending off for servicing immediately? I know the chances of the ETA being NOS and being nice and clean and lubed will be slim, so I'm tempted to go for the Selita SW200. Any advice or feedback on the Selita movement appreciated!

On Mon, Apr 1, 2013 at 11:35 AM, I contacted PureTime with the following message inquiring about the Submariner 16613 SS/YG with proper gold on end links: "I am interested in this watch and was hoping to see a few close up pictures, especially of the end links and the sides of the end links. Thank you for your time!" I have purchased several two tone submariners over the years from several different vendors with promises of proper end links, etc and before I made the plunge, I really wanted to see some high detail pictures of the watch, above and beyond the unique pictures I saw on the website. On Tue, Apr 2, 2013 at 10:53 PM I was contacted by PureTime with the response as follows: "Dear Sir, I am afraid we only send QC images after an order is placed. " I have seen on the forums that PureTime is a respected vendor, but with a response like the one I received, it raises some concerns with me. Has anybody had this kind of issue with PureTime before, or does anyone have pictures of their ss/yg blue submariner with proper gold on end links from PureTime? Thanks to everyone for any feedback in advance, and I look forward to reading your input!

Hey folks, This is a sad day for me when everything came to write this post. Long story short: I bought from PureBags a bag on Dec. 2nd and still have yet to receive anything! No money, no bag and so far no response. But here's the complete deal: On Dec. 2nd of last year, I ordered a nice Hermes bag for my wife's birthday just right before Christmas. I chose PureBags since I have bought many watches from Angus (Puretime) and my experience was always a good one. Also I was directed to the PureBags site directly from his webpage. So what could go wrong? For me it was a done deal. However, they took like forever to send me a tracking number. When they finally sent it, the tracking site said the item was stuck in Hong Kong and never left. So when I insisted on this situation, Tony at PureBags told me the shippers site was having problems, but the item was already on it's way... so after many emails coming back and forth, Christmas passed and on Dec. 28th I receive an email from Tony telling me that the item was seized by customs in my country and that there is nothing they can do other than me paying for another bag for them to ship it. I was freaking mad! How fresh from them to ask me to pay again for an item I did not receive! It's not the first time I buy from Asia, and is not the first time to have trouble with customs. But the most funny part is that the shipping company sent back the item to them! Knowing this, they agreed to resend the bag to me for a second time and this is the day I have yet to receive anything. When I asked again for a tracking number, they sent me one that is not working or to be found by any tracking site. And now they don't even answer my emails! People, I sincerely don't know what happened to Angus, but this is not what I expected from a long trusted seller.
