  1. Ok, so I bought a SOSF last year m2m, which came on a rubber strap. I recently purchased a beautiful Pro 2 bracelet for it. I go to install it, and the 147A end link pins don't line up with the lug holes on the case. I did a good bit of research on this problem, and from the limited info I could find, I learned that the SOSF comes with 134A end links when a Pro 2 is fitted. Here's the strange part: I was carousing through sales threads "next door", and found this pic. It shows a 147A used on a Superocean! (top pic) https://www.dropbox.com/s/akoq9ds0sb6imvp/2016-04-07%2006.11.16.png?dl=0?raw=1 I can't find 134A end links by themselves anywhere. And, I don't want to buy another Pro 2 WITH 134A's on it, only to find they won't fit either. FTR, I don't which factory my watch came from. I only know it has a dg2813 in it, which I replaced with same soon after purchase. Also it has the usual "wrong blue" dial, and does not say "swiss made" like some do under the 6. Here's a pic of my watch if it helps: (bottom pic) https://www.dropbox.com/s/0vzxs279k8o2dti/2016-04-07%2017.27.05.jpg?dl=0?raw=1 Can anyone please enlighten me as to what may be the solution to my problem? Much thanks guys. Cheers!
  2. Hello All, I am infrequent visitor here looking for some help. I have a SuperOcean Heritage SS Black RB - Asia ETA 2824 and the crown will not stay "closed". I assume its stripped. Can anyone recommend someone in the US who can help me fix this?
  3. Gentlemen, I am having quite a bit of trouble finding a dealer who distributes the Breitling Superocean Heritage with a White face/dial and black bezel, 42 or 46. Do any of you know a viable dealer?
  4. Hi I am thinking about getting new reps and I need advice. I am always looking for something "interesting". Few years ago I fell in love with IWC 3714, but according to movement problems, i decided to wait until I can afford gens once in the future (100 with his stunning 3714-82 frankens is a damn lucky guy ). I have bought Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver Chronograph RG/BK instead, which are simply great, but not suitable for daily use (thick and heavy). I am not fan of Rolex or PAM (too mainstream, everyone have them ), as well as i was not fan of Breitling - the same problem. But I have changed my mind yesterday, when I saw Breitling Superocean 42 in the shop window. This particular model is something different from those usual Navitimers, etc. I was also considering IWC 3767-08, but cannot find proper reps with all three subdials in black color and I do not like Slevin as much as 3767 (and the next disadvantage is, that they are thicker than Superocean 42). My question is - should i buy Breitling Superocean 42? Thoughts, flaws, recommendations? I personaly like the Black/Yellow version and i wonder if it is available only with black Diver Pro strap, or you can get gen Black/Yellow Superocean strap. I have also seen, that reps offer 3 or 4 different movement options (depends on which seller offers them), so which one is better? Has anyone exchanged or modded dial and hands for more accurate gen colour? Thanks for your help
  5. well, to be honest im an omega man through and through-i have a franken planet ocean 45, a 42 PO, smp chrono, 2254.50 and a gen 2541.80 and 2531.80...but i've had an itch lately for something different. not too different though-it had to be a dive watch! so it was a toss up between a rolex dssd or a breitling superocean. being the type of person who for some reasons likes brightly coloured watches the new breitling superocean in yellow won straight on the laptop i went and a week later here she is-my first breitling purchase and to be honest i couldnt be happier, its a cool watch despite what the haters say! one thing bugged me though and that was the comfiness of the rubber strap, its bloody good looking strap mind, but i just couldnt get it to wear right. hmmm, after a rummage in my straps box i decided to give this mesh a try and im glad i did. i think it gives the watch a hardcore look while still keeping the overall image-and it wears perfect which i great! anyway hope you all like, i for one am a happy bunny.
