  2. Good day members, Here’s my honest and transparent review of our very own AP guru and RWG crew member Legend! I’ll keep this a short and to the point as possible. I’ve never been an AP guy and my eye has always been towards Rollie’s and PAM’s until.......BAM! The release of the AP forged carbon and ceramic rep models. I was reluctant to purchase any AP as the price does not match my profession alas we’ve all had or seen this discussion on the forums. I fought the urge for a few years, yes a few years until recently I found out the Noob V4(supposedly the most accurate)was discontinued by the factory and only available for purchase M2M. I found one for sale on RWG and the journey began. Once I received the watch I simply could not take it off my wrist! It was the most comfortable and light watch I’ve ever worn! The stealthy black carbon case with splash of yellow is just plain sexy and screams renaissance man! Then tragedy struck! The deco rotor plate broke☹️ I replaced it but found the screws were stripped from previous owner and the movement was shot![emoji33][emoji37] So my dilemma was to find a forum Watchsmith that would work on AP’s. In comes Legend! After researching all forums I found his specialty was modding APs to gen like status. Contacting Legend was a breeze and communication is very easy, concise, and to the point! He explains in detail very well. Off I ship my watch overseas and the wait begins. Legend evaluated my watch and gave my a complete breakdown estimate of work needed and optional mods. To be completely honest I was surprised by his prices and thought they were on the expensive end but after his explanation and reviewing the going prices of a Legend modded AP FC Diver M2M I realized his work is “Legendary” and as always you get what you pay for! Legend was very honest in his assessment of my watch and what he thought I truly needed and didn’t need. I opted for the case polishing(bring out carbon pattern per gen), Omega datewheel(better font), rebuild of the A2824(dirty and to much oil), screws polished and rethreaded, and pressure testing. Legend takes great pride in his craft and wanted to make sure I was truly satisfied with the final results of my AP FC Diver. My Diver before Legend mod I received my watch back after a little over two weeks from Singapore. Legend does pay return ship and offers a six month movement warranty. All I could say was WHOA!!!! The watch is gorgeous and his rebuilt A2824 runs like a dream! Well over 42 hours power reserve, though I haven’t timed it. After Legend mod! Off into the sunset with my Legend modded AP! So much for the short review! My final take on Legend’s work. He is a master of his craft and takes great pride in his work along with customer satisfaction however be prepared to spend cash but the end result is well worth the price of admission! Enjoy to the max! Blessings, Indy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hello all - This is my first post ever. I want to purchase the absolute best AP Diver Rep that is available. I have heard InTime and PureTime (not sure which dealer is better???) are the two best dealers. I am looking at these two watches: http://www.intime.co/audemars-piguet/1627-royal-oak-offshore-diver-swiss-eta2824-v7-.html http://puretime01.com/watch-brands/audemars-piguet/royal-oak-offshore-diver/royal-oak-offshore-diver-11-v8-jf-best-edition-on-rubber-strap-a3120.html# They both seem okay - the decoration on the movement isn't the same as a GEN but the rest is okay (I wonder why they are priced differently). Can anyone recommend the BEST dealer or best place to buy a SUPER rep. I am willing to spend up to $700.00 on one. Thank you in advance to whoever helps me out here!
  4. Hi all, Hereby some pictures of my "grail watch". My Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15400 with blue dial. Enjoy!
  5. Hi guys, Perhaps you know but I'm a big AP fan I just took some pictures of the Audemars Piguet Diver 15710ST. It's a great watch and it just looks different like all the AP Divers out there. I especially like the black minute hand and the black lume on this white diver. The big question is, would I pick this white dial diver over the black dial diver? As much as I like this "look" I still think the black dial diver is the one for me. Enjoy the pictures!
  6. Hi, im new in here and I was wondering where should I buy audemars piguet royal oak 15400 rep? What site can I trust? Or does someone here sell one?
  7. Hello everyone! I'm new here, but this forum seems pretty awesome (nice people, good vibes). I want to buy my first replica Audemars Piguet, but don't really know how I can get one... Also I don't know about transfer costs for shipping to The Netherlands (where i live), i've read something about high extra fees or taxes? I'm looking for an AP with decent quality (not the very cheap looking ones), and open back. I would really like to hear from someone who has already purchased an AP. How did your purchase go? How is the quality, is it worth buying one? The watch I'm looking for is attached underneath! I really hope someone can help me! Have a great day. - Thijs
  8. Hey RWG, I'm looking to buy a white face 15400 Audemars Pigeut Royal Oak any day now. So far, I've come across a few sellers who appear to be TD's here. Here are the two options I'm looking at: http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=241_246&products_id=10977 http://www.intime.co/audemars-piguet/1229-jumbo-15400-swiss-eta-2824-white-41mm-by-bp-maker.html Which option looks best to you guys (regardless of price difference)? If you have a better suggestion, please let me know! Thanks in advance:)
  9. This is actually my "grail watch". The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15400 black dial.
  10. Around half year ago decided to make 1:1 very high quality - matching gen - Audemars Piguet gold ring to ware together with watches. About week ago I had fruits of my long term journey. The outcome is amazing masterpiece and I love it.
  11. Hello guys, apparently we face two versions of the new 2014 Safari, one from JF and one from Noob http://pure-time.com/product/royal-oak-offshore-safari-2014-jf-on-brown-leather-strap-a7750b/ http://pure-time.com/product/royal-oak-offshore-safari-2014-noob-11-best-edition-on-brown-leather-strap-a7750/ Whilst the straps are really crappy anyway I'd be interested which one would be better. I figured one difference, that's the fixing of the rotor where Noob is gen-like and JF fails, plus the Noob font of the datewheel is correct and JF is not. Some good pictures of the genuine for comparison can be found here http://bit.ly/1yNB7ri So my dear fellow AP admirers, what do you think?
  12. Hi, I thought I'd do a short writeup about this model because I couldnt seem to find one. Generally I do not buy quartz versions of watches because either the attention to detail per gen is not as desired, or the materials used make these look like a cheap version (which they usually are). And so, I have always bought the clone/ETA versions of watches. Now I came across this quartz version of the AP RB II recently, although I always wanted a sec@12, could not justify to myself blowing close to 650$ on a watch that I would not likely give too much wrist time. My daily wear watches rotate among my Ploprof V2, DSSD ProHunter, Chronopassion. (Yes the CP is a scratch magnet but that hasnt stopped me yet ) So this would mostly be a weekend watch. So when I found this version in quartz it looked amazing at a fraction of the price - close to 230$ shipped. Now some points to clarify about this version: although it is quartz, apparently the case used is the same as sec@12 (same dimensions) and has sapphire glass. Has correct color of subdial hands, also running sec@12. Genuine ceramic bezel, and has mag on crystal. Here are some pics: This is gen (exposed gear under center, exposed screw at about 7 o'clock, both can be seen under the skeletonised dial) Due to the quartz movement (workhorse Miyota) there are obviously some dial differences compared to the sec@12 and gen, which is easily visible to us geeks and you can see this in the photos below - subdial placement is off, probably font is close but not 100% etc. Then again if you get the sec@12 this does not have the exposed movement screws and gearwheel and this is a costly mod in itself if you really want to get your sec@12 RBII closer to gen. There are members who have got this done, you can search the posts for pics of this. Some of the pics sent me as QC by dealer: I think for less than half the price of the sec@12 I can live with these flaws.I do not think anyone I come into contact with often enough will notice subdial placement which is probably the biggest call on this (I dont know any geeks at work ). So I paid up for this and am waiting for it to arrive. Although I have got it from a dealer who is not one of our TDs, in case you want one I am sure your preferred TD can source one for you. The first thing I will do once I get this is change the strap - either rubber from my CP or I have a grey hornback incoming from Donerix, I will see which looks better, though i think the rubber will. Cheers T
  13. Can any of the members here recommend a reputable and safe website for AP replica? looking for a high quality replica with premium swiss movement and reasonably priced + fast delivery. BTW, are these 2 sites trusted ? replica2u and e-value shop. Appreciate any help guys (:
  14. What do you guys use? Maybe I'm searching with the wrong words or don't know the proper name of it. I searched this forum and I've been looking for a travel case to keep an additional watch with me on vacations, etc. The problem is, all the travel cases require the watch to lay flat. I can't do that with watches that are on a deployment buckle (like a AP ROO on a steel bracelet which cannot lay flat). Is there a name for such a case? this is similar to what i have typically found so far---
