  1. So I have a Patek which I will post the link of the model here. I lost my screw that holds the strap in. I just dissappeared one day. I have the long pin the goes through the strap but the screw is missing. Where can I find another? (I bought an eye glasses repair kit and none of those screws seems to fit. http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=109&products_id=1096
  2. Hi guys! Today I had some time again to take some pictures from my Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711. I preferred the bleu dial which looks very nice imo. This is relatively spoken the cheap version with the 2813 movement, the date font isn't correct but this one got the phat hands. Let's skip te talking and go the fun part, pictures!
  3. Hi there fellow collectors and watch lovers! Thank you for the chance to be a part of this great community!!! Collecting vintage watches and reps since ever. So I really remember the times when I bought my first reps in the 90s ... oh my, compared to todays great pieces I can say, they really changed a LOT for the better :-) My favourite brands are AP, PP & Rolex Especially vintage style reps and modded reps with a special creative touch I like a lot. Hope to get more inspiration, ideas and knowlege here in future to work more on my planned rep mod projects. (hope to have also enough time off my job for that ....:-) Have a great time! Elias
  4. Hello, friends. The watch, with the crown open, was bumped off a table onto a hard floor. POW! The stem near the crown snapped off. A bit of research here told me this may be a repairable fix. I uncased the movement and popped the release clutch to get the remaining stem out of the movement. This is shown in the pictures. Big questions: 1. where do I source a new working stem? 2. How do I get the Patek crown off the existing broken stem? 3. Anything else to know? Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you!
  5. Hi everyone I'm glad to have found this forum with so much people and information I want to thank the creators for this as so far I've learnt a lot. The patek Philippe aquanaut 5167 is why I joined the forum and hope to find some pictures and a good website to buy from
  6. I'm interested in seeing some Nautilus as rep. as a very close friend of me used to own the gen Nautilus, I used it for a long time. it was a slim auto, with closed caseback. Then he sold it... Right after the sale, I decided that I missed it and I looked for a rep. Unfortunately nothing decent was out at the time. So far I've seen only horrible reps. Wrong dw, even wrong number position, awful color dials and awful cases I've seen now that so e New reps are out Is it correct? is there a good version of the Nautilus out now? Where do I see a review ? Known flaws ?
  7. So this will probably end up being a controversial topic, but somebody's gotta ask... If you could only choose one rep, and one only, which rep is the be-all end-all of reps? The one that's either a dead match to the gen, or if not, SO close that nobody would ever be able to tell. (with or without mods) It doesn't matter if the gen is unobtainable either, in your opinion, which rep out of every single rep you've seen/owned could stand up to scrutiny from even the most skilled set of eyes?
  8. I was looking around the web and I found a picture of a Patek Phillipe Nautilus. Am I correct to assume that this is a blue dial, rose gold, on leather or is the sun playing tricks on the camera and it's a grey dial?
  9. Hi, this isn't meant to be any kind of indepth thing. I bought this PP24 for my sister in law over a year ago (from Josh). Cheap and has no seconds hand. She was wearing it recently when she was here, so i took some pics. I've never really given thought to my opinion of it as a replication, but as a well bulit watch it's excellent. very sturdy, even the bling, and a really well built bracelet. Other than that, i'll just post the pictures. First the rep then the gen: rep: (sorry for the fluff) Now the gen: You can make up your own mind as to the quality of the replication, but as mentioned, it's one of the most sturdy built reps I've ever bought. The kind of watch that if you dropped it wouldn't skip a beat. Bracelet feel is one of the best i've ever felt.
