  1. I have an opportunity to scoop up some Seagull ST2130 movements for 50.00 ea. I plan on buying a few for myself but I am willing to do a group order, I can get the cost down to 45.00 a piece if I can get around 10-15 total. Anyone interested feel free to let me know.
  2. I have the above problem with my 1963. The effect is the chronograph resets itself when I press stop. I think the actual problem may be the button itself is a bit stiff and putting up too much resistance for the puny spring which pushes back on the reset lever - the button needs a firm press to engage then returns slowly after pressing). I can manually engage the lever directly on the movement, making the chronograph reliable. But when I reset, the lever just returns maybe half the distance it should. Does anyone know how I can loosen or grease the reset button before I start looking at the spring? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I recently bought a nice speedmaster rep. with a ST19 movement from a fellow member here. Problem was that the stem was missing, but finally I could source a new one. Now I am wondering if I should install it on my own or get it done somewhere.... I only found how-to's on removing the stem, so my guess would be that installing is just the opposite? - opening case - pushing the "stem-release" button and insert stem Can it be that easy? ;-) I have never worked on a movement before and would rate my overall technical skills at about 7,5 out of 10. Thanks for your suggestions & thoughts!
