  1. Want to buy a genuine 76100 dial. U got one, or might know where to get it?
  2. Dear all, To carry on tradition it has been proposed that the 5th Annual EU GTG take place in Malmö, Sweden on July 28th. The format for the evening will be as before - a meet and greet followed by a stroll to a local restaurant for dinner followed by after dinner cocktails in a location of your choice or return to the start location for drinks and music. Lady guests are more than welcome as are members from outside continental Europe. We will not be arranging accommodation but this thread will be updated with hotel recommendations with time, so stay tuned. Members that wish to make a long weekend (or more) will find plenty to do over including the "Scandinavian capital" - Copenhagen - just a 25 minute train ride away and very nice white fine sandy beaches nearby (make sure to check the water restistance on your gem first though). This is an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones that is not to be missed. I for one have made some very good friends and acquaintances through these GTGs. I will be asking one thing of members that intend to take part and that is that we pay for dinner into a paypal account before the event to ensure that we can cover the costs of the restaurant in one bill. Dinner details can now be found below, I ask that those that wish to attend make themselves known here. From Stephane, FxrAndy, bionic tim and myself we look forward to yet another memorable evening and greeting old friends and making new ones. *We retain the right to vet new and unknown members who wish to attend, please dont take this the wrong way but a big part of this GTG will take place at a private venue* The dinner will be a "RWG special" 3 course menu at a nice restaurant for 440 SEK per person (about €50,5 at todays rate). This price will include two glasses of wine and coffee. The menu has not yet been set as the chefs will prepare something with the nicest available local ingredients of the season. Will know more about a week prior to the GTG and update this post accordingly.

  6. So this started out as a conversation between @Mike on a bike and me, then moved into a discussion in the Mods Lounge. It is no real secret that we would like to see this place grow and thrive, we wouldn't be very good Mods if we didn't, so we are often looking at and talking about ways we can improve the forum, attract new members, keep existing members coming back and increase the number of posts. Since I was unexpectedly made a member of the crew here, I have always taken the position that I am here to serve the forum, which essentially means the members and it seemed to me that perhaps we should open up a bit about what we do and what we discuss. I'm a big fan of transparency and accountability. My fellow Mods concurred, so here it is. The following few posts are more or less verbatim of what we discussed between ourselves. the less being that obviously we use our real names and have a policy of not doing so on the public forum, though of course many of you know my name and I now know a good few of you. I guess we are trying to get an understanding of the situation and yes there is a bit of moaning too, but if anyone has concrete suggestions for improving the forum and increasing both the post count and visitors numbers, we are very willing to give them serious consideration.
  7. I promised to leave a positive review for Andrew from trustytime watches which I'm happy to do, so here goes, excellent customer service, he always responds to emails, you receive photographs of the watch your getting and it doesn't disappoint. Great returns policy should you have an issue with the timepiece and overall I am very happy with the product and service, if you're looking for a watch I highly recommend trustytime watches.
  8. I figured this may be the best place to help me find a recommendation for my wife. She wants a watch with a globe face, and I refuse to buy some piece of crap on etsy. I found this one which mentions a Miyota movement, but this is as close as I've gotten. Any ideas (gen or rep)? https://www.etsy.com/listing/125688563/map-watch-world-with-stripes?ref=shop_home_active_4

  11. Hey guys I am looking to get a Breitling rep and I don't know how to find a trusted dealer. I have a small collection now but no reps. Any help is appreciated. Also im looking for a b01 or a super avenger
  12. Ok guys, I apologize with the mods if this is not the right place to post it. Maybe it's the offtopic/humor, but hey, this is a post about watches in the end! So, after the disclaimer, let's start! I want to share with you some pics of my Saturday...why? Because I like to browse, see photos of fellow RWGs around the world! So let's take a sneek peak! (sorry taken with iPhone, so low quality!) This is me at noon, looking at my SMP black. Just eye candy! Then in the afternoon I went to the Monza park, famous for hosting the Monza Race Track (Formula1) with that little boy down there. Here we are in the old race track, which is really scary thinking about the climbing that the old cars had to run...at least 70 degrees! It is really hard to reach the top with a bike! Then I finally caught some Formula 3000 car! They are way faster than the iPhone shitty shutter! I went to Milan. Some Duomo view... The "Madunina", gold Madonna. Dunno how to translate Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. A wristshot for my fellow RWG guys! Some people came here in Milan for the Pope....I didn't... to be continued...
