The dealers should prefer their products to be as closed to genuine as possible. Solid case back is easier to make and cost should be lower than display back, right? I bet that the caseback of the 288 rep was originally designed for another Radiomir model. Btw, all auto 288 reps come from the same factory. w0lf Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 Right on, it seems like the factory that used to produce thick proper solid caseback PAMs hasn't put anything out in a couple of years. We really need quality OP6500, 6502, 6508, 6518, 6520, 6524 heavy and well-engraved casebacks. Along the lines of of the old OP6518~B1176, B1700, B1900 etc. would be killer.
