mysql Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 (edited) Got a blue seamaster pro, I can wind it, and I can set the date, but I can't seem to set the time. Does the He valve set the time? It's an ETA 2834 thanks Edit: I was able to accidently do it once, but only breifly. The winder seems to either be screwing in (till it can no longer turn or move), or unscrewing till it's all the way out and I can change the date. It cannot go further out and doesn't seem to be able to set the time without accidently hitting the sweet spot. The gas release is just for show, though it does unwind. Let me know how it turns out, just be sure not to pull to hard on the crown, or it may come out. I was thinking the watch was broken because it was so damn hard to pull out and when it's unscrewed the [censored] looked like it was just dangling, not attached properly. when I pulled it out two clicks, the second hand stops. so looks like it's good to go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have had mine for about 8 - 10 months and no problem yet! I leave it on the watch winder when i dont wear it so that i dont have to use the crown too often!
