Howto adjust Breitling deployment clasp ?

First the clasp is called deployant, not deployment.

As for your problem this can be adjusted by bending the top or bottom part of the clasp. The bend must be ever so slight so the part that actually holds the clasp shut will be at a different angle. You may have to play with it a little to get the right fit.

Surely it's called either a deployant or a deployment clasp....

Anyway; on a closed clasp (with no strap fitted) place one pair of pliers near the lock and another near the hinge end. Bend the hinge end carefully either up or down to respectively loosen and tighten the locking action and to decrease or increase the curve of the clasp. Keep making small adjustments until it feels right.

Sometimes a hard concept to grasp

The two hinged sides of the clasp are both curved, you increase the tension on the 'clip' that holds them shut by increasing the length of one compared to the other - a little straightening of one (generally the lower one) makes it relatively longer and thus the clip tension more positive.

But

We are talking SMALL adjustment here, as above do it by hand (after all it was probably just normal wear that bent it loose to begin with - and will be what causes it in the future).
