Broker1981
Hey Everybody! Can you please tell me wether it is possible to change the glass in this watch? It fell from my tea-table onto the marble tiles, and landed glass first. The rest of the watch is ok, and i do love the watch. I wonder if i can change the glass somehow. I would also like to ask wether this is normal for saphire glass. My tea-table is about 40 cm tall (1ft 4 inches) and i did think that it would withstand a fall like that. Any and all answers would be highly appreciated. I live in Norway, and i'm having no problems recieving watches from amongst others Joshua. subbiesrock
Ask your rep dealer for one, I'm sure they can source a glass for it, then just send it off to one of the guys on the forum to get it replaced, it should be a 5 minute job for them, and from past experience about US$30-40 for the work. It requires a special press to do it properly. Good luck mate, show us when it's fixed
ChipSlap
Sapphire is scratch-resistant, but somewhat more brittle than mineral glass. I would expect it to shatter when landing as you described. Good luck with the part-search and the repair.
