Doesn't this angle make you think 1680 Sub??? I can't think of the model number off the top of my head, but the no-date variant like I'm working on building As to why I think that... Well, that's the most recent watch you've mentioned purchasing, I can't see a cyclops on the crystal, so that's making me think it's a no-date watch
praetor
cmon...spill the beans!!! my guess: a 5513 oh wait it's a trick...don't tell me that's your MKII DRSD Nanuq, you're driving me nuts Edited November 2, 2010 by praetor
Nanuq
Nice guess but it's not a 1665, the case is too thin, as is the bezel. A 5513? Check the crown guards. Are they "droopy" enough? They look almost like my 1665 crown guards... but not quite. Here's the 1665 for comparison:

TeeJay
Ah, much more pedestrian than that. Unfortunately. Is it a Snowflake Date Tudor, but in a cyclops-less case?
redwatch
That's my guess too. It must be a Tudor Oysterdate with the cyclops removed? Either a 9411 or a 7021?
Nanuq
Bingo! The Stealthflake 9411 wearing a gen T-19 instead of its original T-125.
TeeJay
Bingo! The Stealthflake 9411 wearing a gen T-19 instead of its original T-125. Sweeeeet :thumbsupsmileyanim: I really don't like cyclopses
panerai153
Damn, I had added a Tudor date with a non date crystal in the same line as the 7928 and then erased it, only one guess per post!! LOL I do like that one. I have to admit mine with the T-125 really sticks up a good bit. Only problem as my eyes get worse, it is nice to have the date magnified. redwatch
Looks good Nanuq! For some reason, when I wear my Tudor, the cyclops just self drives itself right into door frame corners, walls, racks, etc.... It's especially weird because I never hit that stuff with other watches, or with my wrist when I am not wearing a watch at all. It's like there is a small little magnet that is only attracted to wooden door frames as it moves past them I have to agree with panerai153 though, it is nice to have that little extra mag on the watch. TeeJay
I like the Panerai-style cyclops which is internal, as it doesn't mar the line of the crystal, but I don't like the way they are on Rolex, as I feel it spoils the line

Maybe someone could put a Pam type magnifier iside a t-39 superdome for those DSSD GE Sea Dweller owners that are slowly going blind!!! Seriously though, I have several gens that are very hard to see. particularly my MKII Stingray with a tiny date window between 4 and 5. It is black with white numbers and it is hard to see especially in sunlight with any glare. Oh! The woes of getting old.
Nanuq
Roger that! Why is it, that as soon as we get old enough to afford, and appreciate, these really nice watches, our eyesight goes bad enough that we can't SEE them anymore?!
