permabull Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) From what I hear PAM177L is better quality and more accurate than the recently released PAM177M. You can always find something to mod, it just depends on how picky you are. But these models you listed (especially the closed back PAM318L and PAM005K) and are great out of the box, which is why they've been selling like hotcakes. ps. I think there is an MBK version that for about $450-500 was said to be great. The new models lately have set the price/quality bar alot higher IMO.
