flavor flav Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 well, first i go to install a high cannon pin in my fiddy (latest from EL) and find it already has the long cannon pin added at the factory! yet it has a bigger recess than the previous version! seems they heard they need a longer cannon pin but they must be trying to copy the recessed pin look of the other reps by using hands with longer tubes! if you cut down the hand tubes a bit they fix the recess. or just get a hands set from davidsen! found the same was true on the next in my collection for upgrades (231) had the long cannon pin too! cut the hands....fixed! i compared my high cannon pin sets and the factory pins measured exactly the same! seems most the newer 6497 based pams are fitted with the correct cannon pin but even worse hand sets will they ever get it right? calling davidsen for more hand sets now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
