1680 dial in a 5513 case?

I'm not sure about this unless you're using an MBW 1680 dial. Of course, the MBW 1680 case is really just a 5513 case- or used to be on the old ones- says 5513 on it. Key here is using a 1680 dial that measures 26.2mm(MBW). A real 1680 dial measures 26.5mm- it won't fit in the 5513 case w/o mods- shave the dial or turn the case on a lathe.

Like mentioned, a gen 1680 dial would not fit a MBW 5513 case. You can shave the dial down to fit, but the markers would look too short. Only solution (for perfect look) is to widen the rehaut on a lathe, and to make the case deeper (when looking from back on the case) into the rehaut (also on lathe). Because the rehaut on a gen is very thin! Then use a thicker spacer between dial and movement with higher cannon pinion on a 2846. That would make a perfect looking 1680 with a lot of effort, but still wrong engraving...
